Us wormholers probably use Rorqs more often than lowsec now too
This is awesome!! +1
Yeah, too much use of them in my opinion… But hey, they’re a great way to generate content!
in strict economic terms --unsubbs = less money for CCP…how is this not clearly a lead zepplin economic decision.
all other gameplay nonsense aside.
Wait, so you’re turning on Risk vs Reward in Null Sec?
Does that mean if your a small group that sets up in a 3 that the chance of being evicted by a massive alliance would be decently low?
It was clear that all the Carebears were complaining. Have you ever noticed, no matter what kind of update comes, there are always people who say they cancel their subscription
Personally I think the changes are good, it brings more dynamism.
But I would like to make a compromise suggestion.
This is based on the motto risk vs. ISK. That means the more dangerous it is in New Eden, the more money can usually be made.
Now in 0.0 this is oriented to the security status by spawing anomalies (Combat Sites). A good overview can be found here. So much for the basis of my proposal.
Now to the actual suggestion:
- Depending on the security band (A-E), each local is assigned a base time by which it is delayed.
- System upgrades (level 1 - 5) are introduced, which reduce this time by one second each.
As an example:
- Security band A (0.0 to -0.24): Local Chat Basis Delay 5 s and 0 s with System Upgrade on 5
- Security band B (-0.25 to -0.44): Local Chat Basis Delay 7s and 2 s with System Upgrade on 5
- Security band C (-0.45 to -0.64): Local Chat Basis Delay 8 s and 3 s with System Upgrade on 5
- Security band D (-0.65 to -0.84): Local Chat Basis Delay 9 s and 4 s with System Upgrade on 5
- Security band E (-0.85 to -1.0): Local Chat Basis Delay 10 s and 5 s with System Upgrade on 5
That would be my suggestion.
And always keep it in mind: With a good Kompriss no side is really satisfied
Weird only high sec players and wh players like this change.
If null sec becomes difficult to play we will have to pull up the prices on only null sec products to pay for the damage we take becose of this change.
Lets se how high wil react if the flow gets so expencive, tech II stuff wil rise out the seems isk wise.
If you keep your structures fueled in wormholes you’re GENERALLY safe. Several corporations will actually defend smaller corps in wormholes for free… You’re giving us a chance at a good fight or a slaughter. Wormhole politics are… Well, weird is a polite way of putting it.
Very interesting but I don’t think with upgrades it should ever reach 0 maybe minimum of 5 seconds, 10 for profitable areas with the chance to destroy their upgrades without a reinforce timer, that they can replace with 1 hour deploy time.
And there is alvays atleast one man with a PLAN.
CCP dont give a ■■■■ about your plans. They do what they want.
Nothing in the world is easier than killing a carrier with a dozen of bombers on a blops run.
Just a random KM Thanatos | PrudiCZ Psotovy | Killmail | zKillboard - this one probably died in under 2 minutes, response would still be on session timer reshipping in citadel.
I did a few, but quit, because of how stupidly easy it is, and generally how stupidly boring eve pvp is.
I still have a blops set stashed in Tenal, and some bombers in Pure Blind and Curse.
It is literally zero risk all reward activity, and if we’re balancing risk-reward, ganking in general (and especially blops) needs to get at least some sort of risk added to it.
How did the bombers stay away from the Siren and fighters out of interest, I would have thought fighters would kill bombers off quickly have never tried with bombers thou so not experienced in that area.
Oh not really. Just means the high class residents will probably ignore us. Several lower class groups evict for a living. Though they are small enough to fight off with sufficient prep thanks to no caps(for attackers). Til a null group stumbles upon your hole and you take out their roaming fleet and they proceed pile in pilots to steamroll your structures for fun. If you go small time like 15 or so dudes and limit yourself to medium structures you’ll be fine unless someone gets really bored. But once you put down a fort to build freighters and Rorqs the clock starts.
Dear CCP, Thank you for finally starting to make null as dangerous as it should actually be, delayed local is a good start, I can only hope you’re tweaking the various rat AI’s next to make them just a bit vicious etc.
Null should never of been as easy as it’s been, if your in null you should be playing as a team in your corps and alliances, this will be a massive gameplay change, and it’s for the better, EVE is not a single player game, and having non consensual pve as well as non consensual pvp now too is a good change, Yes, the drifters do need some tweaking mechanics wise and need bounties on them or a better loot table, though I’d love to see the various other faction rat’s have better AI’s, one can only hope this is a sign of things to come.
Interesting times ahead, and i’m sure people will adapt, that or die.
stupid idea.
Local unavailable and end.
вы там не прихуели,я плачу реалом за спокойную игру а не за параноидальное жмаканье подскана
Sirens only warp disrupt, plus they drop the carriers overall damage by 33% and they are easy to blast off. Dromi’s are the scary one’s they web and make you more vulnerable to the net rocket volley.
After that enough void bombs and a bit of attitude and ganking a carrier isn’t that tricky. Specially we will call it non-optimally tanked…example like that ratting Thanny.
Почему бы не поиграть в игру, которая должна быть тихой.
Honestly I think the PvE drifters in Null need some tweaking for spawns. I don’t think they should spawn in active systems, only systems that have a low activity index.
Use it or lose it, that should be something Null needs to worry about, it also puts stress on the alliances holding vast swaths of unused territory, while making small groups a bit safer.
