Local Comms Blackout - Discussion Thread

It makes no sense to classify PvP into bad and good PvP.

Well done CCP, my salt collectors can’t keep up with demand :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

Best. Change. Ever.

The solution to that problem is, making Cynos have a spool up time. Instant WTFPWN from people who aren’t even in your system is stupid design anyways.

I don’t think you realise just how dumb that statement makes you look… Why on earth would i rat or mine on the test server?

So you are a WH player, figures. The same lazy arrogant bull on not taking into account cynosural fields

You have a backstop to those that get in without your people seeing them. It is called hole control. That does not exist in nullsec, the only alternative is to have eyes on their likely staging systems for the fleet to cyno in on, which most can do if they use their brains however all they have to do is sit tethered and the effect is rather chilling on those who cannot out escalate them.

So you have no idea what you are talking about in terms of K-space, so when I am called a moron by an unthinking moron, I take that as I win. Enjoy your hole control and lack of cyno’s.

I love being called a lazy damned moron too, I have actually hunted AFK cloaky campers in the past by working out and back tracking their safe spots, which takes a huge amount of trial and effort. I bet you have not done that, you have no idea.

I am however back in hisec and been there for getting on for a year, I got fed up with my alliance picking on Provi, however part of my decision making was that I thought that asset safety would be removed and I expected a delay in updating local, which for me pushed the balance out. While I understand the need for doing this to get rid of excess it changes the balance of individual level PvP too much in favour of the lazy hot drop hunters.

I found WH players hated having to fly tackle to catch stuff, so you now can run along in T3C’s and do it the easy way. I don’t see there being any fun to be easy kills for people like you, so hisec is where I am going to stay, enjoy the lack of targets in most of nullsec and what the major alliances umbrellas can do to your poxy small numbers when you get desperate enough to try there.

Lets be honest here, Goons are probably most likely to benefit from having all the idiot ‘safe space’ carebears leave… they’re basically useless and constantly need saving and as soon as point drops they gtfo and leave you to your fate… do they ever come to save you?

Nope.

Among the endless salt and cries of “I’m unsubscribing!!!”, there comes a faint call, echoing in the distance, but now getting closer, louder, filling with hope.
Null will get exciting again!
Looks like mr CEO wasn’t lying when he said he wanted to make big changes to null.
Groups will need to innovate again and develop new strategies, which is when the game is at its best. Like good old RnK.
This will be great at countering bots, who would otherwise escape most hunters. Prepare for hundreds of upcoming bot deaths.
The economy will probably also recover :+1:

Great job CCP

More fights but less evictions :stuck_out_tongue:

Can’t harvest your pvp crop if you rip it all up and salt the land.

id like an entosis function or hack maybe so you can mess with it, dont care about ref - dont care about killing it unless taking the space but being able to make it go down or show less or more than sounds like fun.
And until fixed back up it would remin that way!

Worst thing they did with fozzie sov was the self repairing.

As many have pointed out, players with multiple krabbing/rorqual accounts that play for free are no loss to ccp’s bottom line.

It’s like a hobo who sits in McDonald’s all day on a bottomless cup of coffee threatening to take his business elsewhere.

10 krabbing bay plex (isk)sellers bay plex(REAL MONEY)ccp Get Money retards

Except in that case the hobo is at least paying the 50¢ for the coffee. Bots cost 0$ to make and drive up PLEX prices faster for legitimate players.

Ohhh man. I love miner tears.

Kill all that mines.

Not really, those that are unsubbing mostly buy plex for their alt army and then do nothing but krab away mostly afk.
Now whilst you could assume 12 rorqual accounts lose ccp money i would argue that in fact ccp have lost tenfold PvPers that actively buy plex to spend on ships; not game time.
12 rorquals lining their pockets and joining a fleet for a paplink once or twice a month provide very little to the game, certainly not in the way of content.
And no one cares how much a caracal or cerb or orthrus costs when every one docks at the merest hint of you 5 jumps out wheres the content? not much point having the ship with zero content to be had.

No, 100+ fleet shooting citadels is really not ‘content’.

if you have space in nullsec you should be a pvp player full stop.

THIS is why null groups can only benefit from these tools quitting. WTAF wants or needs players that use the space but dont help defend it?

gtfo or htfu

You’re not really that disgusted or disappointed, are you? Logging in is so easy, a couple of mouse clicks, right?

So you may as well undock a frig, cruiser or whaever, have a fight (you never know you may win - mistakes get made) - when the fight is over, they’ll leave and you can get back to your ratting or mining. Job done.

Another one who has absolutely no clue how markets and industry in EVE are working.

im a trader mate, its how i make money lmfao

andwhen you fools stop industry i have a toon for that too

clearly im not the one who doesnt understand the game or the effect i have on it.
