Think half the people in this thread needs to go to eve uni and learn a few things in general. Is it really going to hurt to give up a bit of your isk ticks to people who enjoy pvp to be in fleets ready to come to your aid if needed?
Plenty people including myself would be willing to do this for something. I just get the impression these days people are so fixated on isk per hour and how much a dent no local could do to them they dont think about anything else.

I couldnāt agree more, last year local dropped and nobody even undocked. It effected the environment so bad ccp gave away free sp as an apology.
It's like these derps really think it's gonna be just like it's was but without local and the killmails will just be flowing in! Most people that live in null right now probably won't even be undocking...
Because there will be nothing for them to do, especially the Indy guy who ONLY mine. I have a few old guys in my corp (like really old) and they just don't PvP... I don't think they can. This ruins the game for them, completely. And I know some ignorant little troll will say something like "they deserve to die" or "tell em to go play Pacman" or some other goof troop comment... But they still pay for their sub, just like everyone else. But not for long. And CCP, just like all businesses... Need money.
These ādank killsā ppl think theyāll be getting will real niceā¦ for about 2-3 weeks. Then theyāll dry up as everyone who likes to rat and run escalations and mine/do Indy will get tired of being ganked non stop. Then, just like dude said āCCP! Take away docking! Is not fair! Reeeee!ā
All these wormholers talking about "I never get ganked, I gots no local.. herrr derrr". Yeah your space is like super underpopulated, every now and then you might have a brave wanderer looking for relics and even a pvper or two. But NOTHING like null sec, my Intel channel never stops... There is ALWAYS multiples of people roaming the space I live.
But now they could be anywhere, why even try in rat in my 3.5 bil Rattler? I won't... might be out in a meta Raven.. but that about it. They just lost the possibility of getting some real shiny killmails/loot because me and SO many others like me refuse to take out something that expensive when you have no way to protect it and you know you're just gonna get ganked by 20+ reeee's. Good job killing the game guys š

Precisely. I see the āreeee no local!ā screeching to equate to āreeee mah ticks!ā. Which frankly can eat it.
Set up better and safer, and donāt play stupidly or lazily and people can rat without fear. With caution, yes, but not fear.

Cloaking could have a duration timer with a cool down 3 minutes of cloak with 5 min cool down or something, then it would put some thinking into it.
That would make it so if people are anoming smartly in a tight cluster or more than 14au off gate it might take longer than that 3 min of cloak and they will appear on dscan.
But 3 min is enough if your really skilled + lucky.

Well, it was a bug and since it was treated as such everyone docked up. Itās a feature now and if people want to stay docked up because they canāt see every single person in system 24/7 is just dumb. Those people should just go to low or high sec where they belong instead of living in a PvP area and being ISK adverse. Eve is a god damn PVP game not FARMVILLE!

well since i mostly agree i must admit ccp takes evryones Money so evry Play style is valid for me and neededā¦ if theres no Prey whut to hunt then?. like swg showed kicking one Group to much can cause them leave and kill a gameā¦

With the currently setup itās nearly impossible to catch botters. Eve is a game of risk vs reward and right now they are attacking a setup that has a lot of reward with little risk. This is documented monthly by the Trillions of ratting bounty isk with relatively low loss.

Wowā¦ so youāre saying that a ship, that canāt even tank a frigate that a day old toon can fit, should be further nerfed because you canāt be assed to defend your space, or pay attention? There is already a recloak delay for covert cloaks, and all you have to do is target and blap the cloaker before he can do anything. Most are on approach so have 0 transversal velocity, so any guns can hit it.
If you donāt think you can handle that, or are scared of a cyno (seven seconds from light to you being in any bit of trouble) then you have plenty of time to warp before a cloaker can do anything, unless you werenāt aligned (shame on you), or the cloaky hunter derped and decloaked too far away, got decloaked by a drone or rat, etc. (shame on him).
Why the hell should a cloaking ship get nerfed so bad itād have to warp around like a bat out of hell for 3 minutes avoiding combat probes just to cloak? If you donāt think there should be any risk for you to rat/mine, then by all means go to highsec.

well 7 seconds sounds hugee thats enough for ā¦ mh what? know youre done? 7 seconds isnt even nuff to make yourself wet. and its the combiā¦ the cyno decides what will happen , when it will happen and to whoā¦ the cyno is the only one who takes Action in that Moment he can decide alone. and the time to kill it bevor his Friends are there is nearby non existent. so i think cloaks are ok als cynos are ok its the combi of both thats outa controllā¦ for the most a evenin of eve playin is sit in Station till cyno lits up.
