if it got a civilian rail fittet better run!!

This is not a bad thing. Material supplies dwindle- > costs begin to rise- > people that do have guts are enticed to go gather those materials -> organized and defended mining ops to mitigate risk -> leads to a fight that is worth a damn over a cause.

@CCP_Falcon please hold back on these changes until next weekend when I’m home from vacation (pretty pretty please).

those rorquals will continue doing what they are doing, under supercap umbrellas in heavily bubbled systems with eyes on both sides of each gate and WHs. Maybe even with boson titans on gates…

we’ll talk in a few weeks… lets keep track cloaks in system

You make it sound so easy.

I’ve said something like this before, CCP is just outnumbered when it comes to trying to stay ahead of the player base, be it Goons or whoever.

There is no excess safety in null. Its people working together to make some safety happen. its part of the community. Stuff still dies.

and keep saying it every time someone comes i-oh, wait, you won’t know when that is, will you?

Can confirm, a rookie Ibis can kill my brick Falcon in <7s.

Every developer is. Every GM in tabletop is. It’s why you can’t try to overplan things. There’s just always going to be a greater number of brains attacking any problem than created it.

I still need that wrist.
Cloaks, recons, and the fact that by the time you see them in d-scan its too late tells me its not worth to lose my wrist over it.
Making krabing more tedious and just a target for others fun isnt fun for me either. In any case only Rorqs and supers will be able to adapt. Smaller guys will just have to go back to HS or quit

Hire scouts or combats ships to scan and watch gates, roll holes, etc for you. I’ve done that kinda work. Even mining is more exciting than watching a gate.

That “stuff still dies” is a terribly low and meaningless bar.

The reality is local is/was overpowered. It gave enough of an early warning that you were guaranteed to make it to a tether, shield or docking ring before there was any chance you could be caught, no matter what your opponent did. That safety didn’t require anyone to work together or do anything really - that was just the free and instant intel of watching local chat.

Quite the impact for what was suppose to be just a social tool eh? Shame on CCP for letting this drag on for so long, but better late than never. While I’m not sure no local is the ticket for a vibrant nullsec, the ball is now rolling and we’re hopefully on the way to a more workable compromise.

well if you think that players will stay in null for the bar to become meaningful for you and make you happy while they feel misearable …

Iceland will have no shortage of salt next winter!

One reason is WH space isn’t a fixed region of space, just like abyssal space.

So a beacon for crons would only work for split second as it would have moved a few nanoseconds later.

Crons only work between fixed locations. Common sense and science!

You might want to read up on how it works again.
