The ark cloaking thread existed for years with thousands less replies than this. If CCP wanted a reaction they got it lolā¦ and playercounts were down on all average TZs despite it being the weekend ā¦ sad really

Well, the legions of Frat bots have been reported missing, so this isnāt very surprising. Frankly, itās a very lovely thing to see. Certainly puts a smile on my face.

This game is hard enough to play as it is and now with local gone in Null Sec itās going to be very hard for industrialists like myself to mine without fear of being attacked unless surrounded by fellow corp / alliance mates. Well done CCP for ripping the last piece of enjoyment from the game after 12 years. I have cancelled my subscription in protest.
I was under the impression that the new owners of CCP were looking for new subscribers to boost their coffersā¦continue on this path and all that will happen is people will cancel and move over to perhaps another sim such as Dual Universe.

PSA: you can pause your subscription with support ticket - you go alpha immediately, and then resume it some other day, when this nonsense is over.

Actually, i kind of agree. It isnt pvp to hunt things that cant fight backā¦ but at the same time its a necessity for eve online to exist.
It is not a necessity, however, for the game devs to change mechanics to make them not suck

Add to that others that actively need to pay attention, use less expensive afk fits running fewer ships in the belts etc are added pluses.
Unlike ganktarding, gatecamping without local is risky, your fleet will be assessed, and only engaged if risk-averse attacker is guaranteed to win.
And it doesnāt even stop ganktards, because cloak and cyno.
Oh I could pve all right, all I need is to apply to any bloc, grab a super from contract, get under the umbrella, and there I go.
But I protest from making eve, and especially nullsec, too easy for ganktards, therefore no logging in.

Non-afk fits will be ganktarded just as safe and easy as any other, because of how safe and easy it was made.
First of all, congrats to CCP for showing courage to rattle things up.
Iām a supporter of the blackout. Yes, it makes life harder but does it in a realistic and meaningful way. If we would have an option to make local available with a structure or some other mechanic in selected systems that would be even better. Forcing blackouts in systems would add more depth to gameplay.
Only downside of the blackout is the strong feel of emptiness. New Eden seems empty now. It detracts from the feeling of greatness of Eve. Being a part of that greatness, the excitement of living in a breathing world has gone.

When zkill comes back up perhaps you should look at some skiff fits, not just the loss mails but also the kill onesā. Many successful fits have align mods, jammers and āpoints (ā on their own way up high" ā¦(sorry couldnāt help it). Groups were doing this before black out as huge force multipliers (that why no many are on zkill)-- theyāll do so even more now. Seriously think outside the box a bit, or join a group that actually teaches you to surviveā But I doubt youāll take some advise after the past couple days of being chicken little and instead insist on having the last word with yet one more post showing your inflexibility.
