Did your reading chip malfunction princess ?

WANT ISK FOR AIKO

You’re still gorgeous though, at least there’s that left in the game.

The safezone design is bad, not because it’s a safezone, but because there’s little to do and taxes are apparently high.

Biomass or we don’t believe you!

I’ve already been to Doomheim and back, this girl stays for a cosy retirement on a paradise planet in Genesis, at Aiko’s expense, naturally.

Nah bro, safezones in a competitive openworld pvp mmo are just plain bad by design.

Spoonfeeding, handholding, everything EvE (Everyone v Everyone) initially stood hard against the tide back in the day, is now fully gone.

The crybaby, short attention-span bears eventually won as CCP fell for their wallets.

Have fun, we could’ve gotten creative, beaten down, repeatedly, limbs cut down, and still get up to write our own stories, like in Kenshi, but the Money Demons said, no.

From my experience, I must agree about safe zones in PvP. Guild Wars (Reforged) is more story based than PvP. All the real PvP happens in Factions the second game. When they made Ascalon, in Prophecies the very first game, you start a new character in pre-searing Ascalon. You can live there forever, it is just the tutorial. I have a level 20 character there to this very day.

The big wigs at Fenris, believe this will keep new people in the game long enough to learn to like it. However they say there is little to do there, nothing worth your time, and no shooting allowed. Vets can and will get banned for over mining the region, I am not even sure I understand the amount of ore you need to scamper off with to qualify.

If I weren’t invited here by a friend playing this game, I wouldn’t be here at all. I do enjoy PvP games, but the best PvP is still ( my opinion ) Guild Wars: Factions. I still PvP there on the weekends. Second best is Black Desert, but I am not a big fan of going red and getting sent to jail. However these games are not PvP first and foremost like here in Eve Online.

By adding this new region, they killed the one thing that made them stand out above the rest. What is that? Space is very dangerous, you will die here… probably on the first day. ← If they use that as their tag line, I want a royalty! Oh but wait, they can’t use that anymore. This is Eve Online where you get put in a safe space, where no one can hurt you. You are encouraged to leave after 30 days, or you can stay here and do nothing.

This new region will change nothing for me. Fenris hopes it will promote player growth. If I jump into a new game and have to play in a 30 day tutorial zone… well I suspect there will be a lot of dead accounts in there after the first 2 or 3 weeks. I really wish I could be more positive and uplifting about their new region, but to me it sounds like “KEEP OUT” signs should be posted for the vets on this side of the gate.

Have fun!

Yeah I’d definitely be curious to see the player retention numbers from those safezones once a new player feels he is “ready” to move on … lol

I swear these people only think with their butts.

Would you believe me if I said this was the actual pitch for selling the game back in the day ?

Yeah.

A well-designed safezone would have lots of content and low taxes.

Newbies quit EVE because it’s boring, not because it’s too dangerous. By making Exordium a safe space, CCP have ensured the newbies will have zero chance of being exposed to any fun.

Incorrect, it’s a tutorial zone with limited content and high taxes to intentionally keep the economic value low and noncompetitive and to create a good environment for newbies to learn the basics without overwhelming the new players with all the mechanics EVE has added over the decades all at once.

If there’s no real option for PVP-free living, then choosing not to take that option isn’t very exciting.

If you wish to play a PvP-free game you could always play other games that do not take place in a full loot PvP universe.

What is your goal with this new forum posting alt, Bakster Kane?

To continue spamming repetitive one-liners without listening until it too gets muted like your previous accounts?

Exordium seems like a kids’ zone at a water park—but with no slides, little water and freezing temperatures

Which is exactly what it’s supposed to be: a tutorial zone for an equally cold space game.

This is the Exordium most people want

Correction, that is the safe space you want.

Is this the goal of that alt, Bakster? To spam the forum that you want to play EVE without any of the scary PvP?
