I try this every six months or so and usually end up being disappointed by what I find, so this time I’m going to try something different. I’m looking for a CEO. One capable of getting me where I want to go. I don’t care if you’re part of a small Corp, or about to make a Corp, or what. I just don’t want to join a large group. I want someone with the willpower to make something from the ground up. I need a CEO who won’t give up when it gets hard, takes advice from those around him, and shares my dream.
That dream is to build up to the point where we can take space. On our own. I don’t want to join a block or be renters, I want to help a group grow strong enough to take it’s own space. A self sufficient group, able to take care of itself and not
be reliant on Ally bubbles to defend itself. Preferably a group that does industry as well as combat, not because I’m a carebear but because I value self sufficiency.
In exchange I offer knowledge from many years in this game playing many different roles, resources to help you grow, and someone who will work hard to reach our shared goal
I know many people like to say “I read your post and I’m not it, but look at us anyway!”, Don’t bother. If you’re a large group or miners only or pvp only I’m really not interested.
Why reinvent the wheel, join the goons (not that I like them), but every time the reports come out there only ONE consistent place where the industry economy is booming, and since they already have space they can help you meet other like minded folk, if anything you sound like a person who may be suited for getting a WH with another with goals of expanding out.
I have always been torn between staying solo and attempting exactly this. I feel like building an empire from scratch is the ultimate endgame of Eve. I’ve successfully built up a player organisation from scratch in the past that was able to compete with the veteran groups , but it was a much simpler game. It had numerous parallels to Eve though, and I did it with Eve in mind. I don’t think I’m quite ready to make a go at it just yet though. If you are still looking in another six months or so, I may be ready to commit to such an endeavor.
Uh, let’s see. Krypted Gaming. Singularity Syndicate. Fedo Farmers. Unreasonable Bastards. Sinner’s Trajectory. Hateful Intent. Viper Sovereign. Wormhole Society. It is really us. There’s 10 for you to start.
The list goes on and on, if you want something good you’ll have to put some effort in and search. Posts like this one have never worked and they’re pretty stale, to be honest.
You’re a bitter young lady. This is just one avenue I’m using, you shouldn’t assume. This is a nice convenient forum that I can leave up and check on my lunch break at work, when I don’t have time to actively search. Thanks for the list though, I’ve ruled out a few of them already, but a couple are new.
Also, if this is so tedious to you, you don’t have to read the messages. And you certainly don’t need to respond.
I really enjoyed reading your post as I feel you are in search of something great. I know that is very much a relative term, especially with EVE gameplay, but so true to the seekers of better content. When I first begin to read your original post, I was thinking NS or “SOV” player, so then I naturally became a passive reader, just cause as an EVE player…I live and breath J Space. However when @BearThatCares jumped in and sported the idea that we (meaning WH Entities) , exist in space that CCP never intended for players to call home, it made me almost feel proud of where WHSOC has arrived. The efforts over the years, the commitment of the member base; It has been a crazy journey for us, so kudos to you who wants to travel where two roads diverge, and you take the one less traveled. I have been a CEO longer now in game, then in anything that I have ever done in EVE thus far. If I have found out through experience, it’s the line members or the player base that makes it ALL worth while. I hope you truly find what you are looking for. If you ever want to just hang out in our coms or are interested in game at who and what makes WHSOC great, send me a tell, we are always looking for players and corporations on the move.
