Old new player looking for something... smallish SOLVED!

I’ve been hitting EVE off and on for about 4 years now, and never really could get into it mainly because, as a solo hi-sec multiboxing industry player, there wasn’t much to do other than sit in an asteroid field and mine 8+ hours a day with 7 accounts. Well, that’s boring and done. I took a handful of skill points from my miners, added it to a new character, and thought I might try something a bit different. After having been away for over a year now, and never really getting in too deep with the game, I’m not very experienced. I would like to find a small PvP/Industry corporation that is willing to teach me.

I do NOT want a massive corporation, or alliance. Something smaller but active, but please, no 3 or 4 man corps. I really don’t want to deal with politics, and the shackles that so many corporations enforce. I don’t mind submitting a full API, but I do NOT want to sign up at several websites, or use 3 different voice programs, or fill out a bunch of forms and wait for verification’s and all that crap. If that’s you, move along, I’m not interested. EVE Online is the only game I’ve ever played in my 20+ years of playing games where, joining a community was a bigger pain than pulling teeth. I want to have fun, that’s why I play games. If I wanted to deal with a bunch of scrutiny and politics, I’d stop paying taxes. Just keep that in mind if you offer an invitation. And please, do tell me a bit about your corp before you invite. Last thing I want is to move somewhere, just to find out it’s not a good fit. (mountain time zone). I have to go now, but I’ll be back later.

Hey @Scarlet_Winter I think you would be a good fit for my corp. We live in a wormhole and are very welcoming to people without pvp experience (we are always willing to teach). It’s a pretty good group that knows how to have fun with the game as opposed to taking it too seriously. A lot of what we do is small gang pvp, but we also have industry pilots. Time zones wont be a problem as we span the us timezones.

I will send you an evemail in game with our discord if you are interested.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Criz

Well honestly my corp is brand new. We have 4 people ( i know you said no 3 or 4 people corps but hopefully we can recruit more and retain them. We are active and live in .6 space. We are like 6 or 7 jumps from jita, 2 jumps from low sec, and like 3 or 4 jumps from null. We have wormholes that pop in our area quite common as well. We are looking to build a corp for small group pvp and have fun. We do mining operations and missions as well. (Just about to start tier 3 missions. I know noob right?) We are in need of experienced pilots so feel free to message me if you are interested in building a corp together. 07

Hey!

Krypted Gaming is looking for quality, social pilots to join us on our space adventures. We are a community focused on quality over quantity, and look for pilots with great attitudes towards the game and fellow players. We live in the nullsec region of Deklein, and are proud members of SLYCE.

We aim to be,

  • Tight Knit (~40-50 actual humans)
  • Highly active (88.5% of our members are online daily)
  • Top Contributors in PvP & Industry (top 3 for monthly alliance fleet participation)
  • Knowledgable & Approachable (tons of guides on our website)

Whether you are a new player or veteran, we are looking for team players who want to contribute to a community. All of our members are active, decent human beings (except our corporate Grandpa, Helltrek) with lives outside of the game. Given that, we also have plenty of memes!

Ola friend, we are a small Euro / US tz corp based out of a C2 with static null sec. easy going, roaming null sec is our specialty , fast hit and run, different regions every day so targets never dry up. Usually out numbered rarely out classed

if you might want to hear more drop into our public or mail a recruiter, here is our forum post. Best of luck on search

i am not a recruiter. I just read your post and thought i would suggest trying a smaller but old / established alliance in null sec. IRC has been around forever and has the usual API requirement to get into, but its a good bunch and coms are always entertaining.
i have been around off and on for 9 years now but my recent 4 years with AWE co have been the most enjoyable.
drop me a line in game will tell you more and point you to an actual recruiter.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I have found a corporation to call home. Please stop responding.

Hey @Scarlet_Winter , if you want to try a small corp just starting which organises public fleets into 0.0., look over to the PuffinSquad thread - would be happy to have some old players there besides myself and a few others cough Corp is also for socialising and laid back, we all got RL and want to have fun not a second work or politics…

Cheers,

I’m in a smaller corp that is part of a renters alliance in null. No real politics here. We are very relaxed and operate in all time zones. Everyone speaks English on Team Speak. We have mining ops and the normal stuff corps like to do. We mine, rat and occasionally pvp. If your interested you can check us out here.
