I see there are now Loot boxes in eve. CCP thought this was a good idea.
Solution: do not buy them. 4.16% of the skin you want dropping.

It’s hard not to buy loot boxes when every sale above 10$ contains loot boxes.
The only way to avoid this is to boycott the store until CCP removes the loot boxes.

Very interesting, considering one of the EU members found loot box mechanics to be illegal.

Raises the question of what is considered contraband ( only the unopened box, which if untradeable indicates there is no problem ? or does it apply to the items derived from said malignant box?) and for whom ( buyer? seller? ) the context of ‘contraband’ is measured?
when they do these Gambling loot boxes they’re breaking Canadian law.
Loot boxes are illegal in Belgium and without a gambling license also in the Netherlands. In Germany, if a game introduces Loot Boxes it might be required to be reevaluated for the minimum age allowance by market control - which might require to set the age to 18+.
I wonder what is going on at CCP?
