Lvl 4 & lvl 5 missions

I do find value in C1 holes, but only for daytripping - gas and ore. I clear out anoms only 'cuz it decreases number of people willing to stay in the hole (thus gas / ore extraction becomes much safer) and it is quick to do - unless it’s that one hole you find now and then with dozens of combat anoms.

Living in C1 is indeed pointless, unless you do it for PI. Though you are still better off going to C2.

if you like it then feel free, ive just said its worthless if you want to make isk !

Dunno, mining ores in jspace in retriever is easy 60M+/h (depending on ore it can cross 75M). Average isk if you ask me. Gas huffing is similar (just in covetor). One catch - these are trivial to multibox - and thus it becomes 60M/h * number of omega accounts. With how empty C1 holes are you rarely find anyone on dscan. If you got a bunch of omega accounts you may as well drop them on good ores or gas sites. [hisec mining, even with maxed out boost, is a waste of time - 20M/h unless you get glistening ores or are lucky to get your hands on the rare ore spawn; not to mention pitifully small asteroids in belts] Sure, I don’t find C1 connection everyday, but scanning means I also find combat sites and HS shortcuts. That means expeditions and faction/deadspace loot as well as routes for sale (yes, bookmark trade is still a thing, even though it is pain in the ass to do nowadays).

At the end of the day the only value of C1 is day tripping. Living in them is insanity.

just not … you dont get this isk/h for a single retriever … ive lived in WH the last 3,5 years and i know mining in WH can be okish but still ■■■■ isk/h in particular if you dont use covetor / hulks.

gas huffing in c1 can be extremly good if there is a good amount of sites. otherwise its finished after a few minuits and you have only finished the almost empty sites  but yes this is the best income in a c1

same with the most other classes. and you still dont know if theres someone because WH space is cloaky space.

and this is not C1 income

definitley

we are definitly have different meanings of “value”

Have you checked the value of compressed ores recently? Retriever of omber is nearly 15M isk. It takes less than 19.2 minutes to fill up ret fitted with t2 laser, 2 mining upgrades and t2 b-type crystals [the rest of fitting is align and warp speed]. (no implants, no drones, assuming 32K m3 per ret). Gneiss is 24M isk per retriever. You can do 3 ret-loads per hour. This is ~72M isk per hour. Per retriever. From my experience 3 loads take 66 minutes in practice, but the point stands. Also one nice catch here: gneiss roids in anoms often have 2M m3 of volume. That means you can keep on munching that rock for a long while.

No, one of us is living in the past, the other in the present and actually did the math, theory, and did the experiment.

True, but it also means that looking for C1 is not “no income” activity. Just because I look for C1 doesn’t mean I will ignore ded and unrated plexes. That would be silly of me. Not to mention I have no guarantee of finding C1 in a reasonable amount of time. May as well do plexes when I find them. And sleeper caches as well.

And if I find no C1 there is always C2 or C3 shrug

then you need to unload your cargo and this takes time depends on warp ways, if you got a station in your WH Conection system and so on … does not mean you can fill your retriever again if its full " but but but … i can jetcan mine out there … " of course xD kill your work if someone see you … nice isk/h rate youve got …

i live in this time where i get way more then your ISK ammount xD and still a C1 is terrible ISK …

if youre looking for C1 then the search of it it still part of your isk/h after your finished the C1 !

and then you got more payout … xD does not mean a C2 is way better but if you get a C3 then yea… you got an okish blue loot amount

CCP must leave Level I - IV in HS. I R afraid of LS. I have no problem with Level V’s in LS and NULL.
They’ve never been worth running anyway. (Yes, I’ve ran them)

Perhaps you might already do such with the various Lvl 4 security missions.

Try to save the missions that offer NPC that drop tags and don’t completely finish the mission for the bonus.
Save the missions for reset and return to shoot all those NPC who drop tags. again.

It can become a routine where you just clean up and do other HS content while having fun in New Eden.

I have not checked it, but from what I heard mission rats won’t respawn anymore after DT.

L5 not worth running? I want contact to your dealer, he is clearly giving you some good stuff if it makes you believe L5s are not worth running. Last I checked people who run them make over a billion per hour.

A billion per hour split between how many people? What about the risk?

nearly riskfree

Why would you assume that you need a bunch of people to run these missions?

And why risky? They are in deadspace, you will see combat probes from a mile away - plenty of time to escape to safety.

The difficult par is initial investment to do them smoothly, and getting locals to stop hunting you (if they ever bothered in the first place).

Honestly? The setup for running L5s is quite similar to setups for exploration. Just quite a bit more expensive and far more concentrated.

So, you no longer have to kill a carrier rat?

You still have to kill carrier rat. How is that too different from bashing ~2M hp that structures have? (quite a common thing in L4 missions)

With what ship? When someone says “exploration setup”, I think covert ops.

Who said anything about covert ops?

I said the setup for runing L5s is similar to setup for exploration, just more dense. Not that they run them in covert ops or with probes equipped - obviously, tools are different. Just the setup is similar.

yeah, they use ships, which can requires skill, in a game called Eve Online : the setup is similar.

I think what he’s saying is that it requires some pre-running prep work.
