PCU might be stable (although it is sensitive to average session length so maybe it just shows newer players from 2017 extending their session time), but new character creation is down by 25% compared to october 2017 -and slightly below october 2015. Since now that number includes both characters from alpha and omega accounts, it haves a direct impact on the financials.
People are creating less characters, and thatās a measure of interest in playing the game. Soon the situation will be worse than in 2015 and 2016 when they decided to implement F2P, but F2P is gone, they already burned that cartridge. There is nothing CCP can really do as now the number will go down to whatever is itās rock bottom based on the natural turnover of players -a turnover that will be significantly worse than if the game still had PCUs in the 50k instead of 30k. Less people playing means more ghost towns, less human resources to assist new players, less mouth-to-ear publicity and of course less money and more pressure to monetize the remaining population.
Highsec population is down by an average of 40%. And CCP couldnāt afford to lose those players who where lost for no gain at all.
Been using NPC stations for years, never had my own structures nor will I, I donāt use Jita to buy and sell. Anything thats transported is by cloaky transport and Red frog. I can see the big null sec alliances putting up high-sec stations with generous tax breaks for the masses gathered in high-sec. Then war-deccs will become a tool for the big alliances to recruit more members from and to drive content in high-sec for years to come.

No, actually the newborn stable graph looks pretty stable as well. It is still highsec than what it was when they didnāt have alpha. And as I already said alpha or not is not important as they have just a different monetization model.
