Plenty of Corps with structures to wardec.
Citadels tethers came after those nerfs.
The ability to undock and align to a target while being -10 in high sec is a buff.
Clearly we need a new hacking game to resolve war decâs, that way no ammo is harmed during the battle.
Im quite confident suicide ganking will be addressed next.
CCP should analyze their data on the attrition it causes, same as they did for HS wardecs.

How do you analyze if someone saw a gank happen and got tired of having to fly an alt account, or the constant propaganda being trumpeted around.
Short answer. They cant look at ganking like they looked at wars. Itâs nowhere near as easy to isolate.
Ganking does have some unique conditions that can help isolate it. For one there are only a handful of effective ganking ships such as the Catalyst or Tornado. As well, a GCC timer would be a big clue, along with the target ship.
So CCP could develop some analysis to find if there is a drop in activity or quitting in a time-frame shortly after they were probably ganked.
You probably wouldnât be able to say for sure in any case, but using statistical analysis one could determine probabilities for it with large enough data set.

The thing youâll probably find with wardecs is that a lot of those people didnt lose anything though. They just got bored with Eve and left because someone was standing over their hole shaking a big stick at them.
Ganking you can look at response to personally being ganked but itâs very hard to look at the kick on effects to how it makes people around the target behave.

I think that would have far less affect on players leaving and would mostly be irrelevant tbh.
I suspect itâs actually a very big impact. And probably a significant cause of the wardec effect also. Not actual loss but the constant chance that today might be the day someone just decides to make you lose your ship because they feel like it.
However⌠neither of us would be able to prove our views even if we had access to server side data I suspect. Because we couldnt suitably issolate that as a factor when looking at ganking.
So much calculations and complications and longterm-ultra-soft plans, and time is going on.
If ccp donât find fast and effective solution someone will came with axe and start to cut off everything which threatens profit.
I suspect thatâs as likely as your threats nearly 6 months ago to quit if pvp wasnât removed pronto.

They really do appear to be stepping away from a few things that actually create content, like small gang roaming and fights; i think they are under the impression a pvp arena will resolve this - it wont, not many sensible people will enter knowing they will be facing some spacerich dude in an fullimplant and pimp fit vedmak or some such.
There also seems to be an issue with realising that its the solo and small gang pvpers that create most of the content in null and that at this moment intime the imperium forming 5 fleets of 250+ each isnt actually going to create âthat contentâ.
But im not an analyst, just been playing a while.
With all the respect, this is wrong.
CCP must take ownership and create content, ccp can not hide behind subscribers and send them message: âYou are imba players you create contentâ.

this may look like content from the outside i guess but i have seen more lost in small gang fights where some ships can cost a lot moreâŚ

Without small gang and solo pvp your left with the first br, 1500 v 350; that sort of âcontentâ wont last long, it is too onesided.
Literally if you kill solo and small gang roaming which the jump gates will have a hand in you effectively kill targets.
I dont know too much about the new jump gates but if my understanding is right an entity such as goons will be able to bring their full capital fleet aalll the way up north, i dont think this will force a fight, i think it will have the opposite effect.
With the introduction of structure based wardecks⌠well you get the idea.
Goons have done very well for themselves its no lie but i dont understand why even more changes seem to be being made to make it easier for them.
PLex prices seem to be on the rise but i dont think more are being sold, i guess only time will tell but with so many sudden and drastic changes it will be hard to narrow it down to exactly what if anything is the issue.
Its safer to rat in nullsec now, much MUCH safer, so people will create new alts to farm with; my guess is older players may leave the game but accounts will go up; most will be alts - it is a shame as i have been an avid fan for 11 almost 12 years but i cnt see this going in a way i call âfunâ anymore.
Already seeing people join big alliances just to be able to operate without having caps dropped on everything they own from frigates to battleships tbh ah well, cest la vie.
