Seeing as the ship’s speed/agility is considered in the alignment time inorder to initiate warp (even when autopiloting), and AU rate of the ship defines the rest, this is already accounted for ingame.
If you want faster warp transit, including both align/AU, use a ship capable of that.
TLDR: You cant warp without aligning first. And alignment time is determined by speed/agility. Its already there in the game.
A single cross-system 22-AU jump takes about 42 seconds in a slowish ship (Gnosis with no speed boosts). The jump through the gate at the end adds about another 10-12 seconds. So call it a minute per jump. Even a minute and a half if it takes you a while on average to notice the jump is done and click the next jump.
So basically you either made a 300-jump route in your 7-8 hour session, or you AFK’d so much that you took 10 minutes per jump on a more normal route.
I can’t see that this is in any way common or likely, so not sure what your point here is.
Doesn’t matter at all if people can mine veldspar in relative safety or haul in hs. Already Nobody really uses other corps for hauling in hs. Cry more about 10 mil isk per hour and grow a spine
Why would you use autopilot if you want to land at 0 on gates?
I smell bot-aspirant behaviour…
If you want to autopilot, accept the risk.
If you don’t want to risk as much, either have someone haul for you or do like the non-lazy pilots have been doing for ages
I use them as well if I haul very valuable stuff. It acts like an insurance for me. I pay quiet a big sum of money and they get taken almost immediately and usually delivered within the hour.
One of the best things about EVE is that you can play it casually. An autopilot that doesn’t serve you up to the cowardly suicide gankers would be a welcome change.
