Sure it is. Basically it is “If I have perfect skills I not longer have to scan”. If that is the case why limit it to wormholes. Why not lock everything at 100% at that point? Heck at that point why bother launching probes?
If you are willing to put in the time and money (for implants) you can already achieve locks on many sigs in like 2 scans. I personally think that is acceptable.
That doesn’t seem to be an argument for why they should be instantly scannable. If you are exploring for data/relic/combat sites you don’t need to scan WH’s to 100%, you can just ignore them.
Fully train scan skills, put a full set of high-grade scanning implants, fit a Stratios with scanning rigs and 4 T2 Scan Range-finding Arrays on the mid-slots and use RSS Probes and Sisters Probe Launcher. It will work just like you want it to.
It’s a painstaking, noisy, and intrusive effort to make a wh give up all it’s secrets. When you have them you respectfully move along or go dark with your knowledge, and tranquility and silence are restored.
Or you start exploiting those secrets while those who are silently well aware by now everything you are doing, are preparing to avenge the offense against bob’s tranquility upon your head.
I actually think this is a good idea. This will provide more content as a whole for WH, either visitors coming in more, or finding more places to explore and attack people through. I think this is a really good idea.
You should see what a bunch of determined people with good skills and tools like Pathfinder or Tripwire can do. It’s really amazing to be able to go zooming off across twenty or so wormholes and know what is in all of them signature wise.
To me it’s gas sites, I don’t need them so just go on to the next thing.
Personally I don’t want anything in a wormhole to scan instantly, sometimes I need to escape.
