Making isk mining isk

New ice miner. Mining ice but where do you sell it to make isk?

The market. There are no NPCs for you to sell ice to, you have to sell it to other players.

If there’s no buy orders, make a sell order. If your sell order doesn’t sell, you need to move the ice to a better market.

Minor trade hubs are Amarr, Dodixie, Hex, and Rens, with the main trade hub of the game being in Jita. Find the one that’s closest to you and haul your ice there. A Kryos is a good ship to haul your ice in to start.

Mostly in trade hubs.

If you want to make ISK, do something else, though. Singlebox highsec mining is one of the poorest income generators in the game.

I am finding that out. But as soon as skills are higher I’ll do more stuff. Thanks.

I will give it a shot. Making isk is a full time job. LOL

If you enjoy mining, you may enjoy the industry side of things. Try finding a blueprint you want and try mining everything to manufacture it.

 - nah, I don’t want to laugh too hard but mining is NOT an isk printer, you might make something getting certain items from Null, overall, between the time it takes to mine anything and other activities.

Mining is only good for building items you want as opposed to buying, I mean, you could skill to get better yields when refining, go to the right structure with max yields, and some implants and yeah, you’ll squeeze out some profit, time wise tho, not worth it.

If you want to solo mine in high sec you should be doing level 4 mining missions. It’s a great start

You can actually run level 4 distribution missions in the time it takes for the mining lasers to fill a Venture halfway, almost any other activity is higher paying than mining.

The way I think about it is that mining is just the first step, most of the isk-making occurs further down the production chain. If you sell your raw ore or ice to someone else, then you are doing most of the hard work while they will make most of the isk.

At the very start there is not much you can do about that, but if you want to stick with mining then I would concentrate on getting your own production chain and trading operations set up so you can capture the full value of your work

Same applies to exploration, belt ratting, and any other resource-gathering activity really.

TBH, if you want to do production, you should either buy raw materials, or be mining “at scale”.

Small-scale mining for the sake of feeding a production chain is a relatively poor activity with respect to value added Vs time spent.
