Ok so… I am not angry, just… HOW did this manage to pass a QA check ?
I explain : a copy of the cog/settings icon of any chat window remain “stuck” in the interface once pressed. And once pressed, there is no settings. You move the chat window, the copy of the icon remains. You press again the cog, a new copy is made. For the sake of this screenshot, I “played” with it.
I finally managed to access the settings after probably 30 tries, and I wonder if it was a matter of time and not tries.

I have abvout 15 seconds delay before appearing in the new system local chat after system change. Is this intended?

Well, to me (note: personal, subjective preference) it never made sense that I first had to “dial a number and wait for the phone to get picked up”, so to speak - it added unnecessary waiting, it was just an impediment. This way, to me, seems more immediate - I have something to say to someone, I send it - if that person chooses to engage with me, then two-way communication is established. But if, for example, I’m going offline and want to just let that person (who may be AFK, for example) know about something, I can do so (yes, I know there’s always the email option - but that’s a little clunkier.) Or give a friend a quick heads-up about something, with no reply required. I guess it comes down to personal preference, and what one is used to (I’m used to sending a message directly to someone in ANY other IM system, without having to “ask permission” first.) Of course, the downside is the freer ability for rude or abusive people to spam or otherwise harass someone - with the previous system they could spam the request, but it had to be accepted for their vitriol to be seen.
The bubble icons I could do without, though, to be honest - though I’m not overly fussed about it either way.

I don’t know how it would appear from the recipient’s end - if the chat gets unilaterally closed on both ends that way, then yes, that would be lousy indeed. I suspect, though, that the receiving end will remain, and your message will come through with your name attached, as per usual; you will no longer be shown in the member list, but your name link will remain (this is assuming sane design, hehehehe!) However, I can’t test it at the moment because the chat is so generally screwed at the moment…
Still lagging, you bump us into each other to see more fights to see the best of us, but you yourself do some lazyass job, it is not fair.
local chat is acting weird - i’m joining other systems every few seconds with local chat only populating 1-2 pilots before joining the next system.

Still broken, Chat windows are not updating, and nor are the messages. There have been several lag spikes during gameplay. Come on PPL please get this sh1t sorted out. Losing patience with it now, you’ve given us 60% at best gameplay since it came back up. I’m a sad Panda. Not interested in compensation, All I want is to play a game that I love…when it’s working.
