When you attempt to sell an item the initial price is sometime very poorly chosen.
When in sell immediate mode the price is appropriate as it is the same as the highest buy order.
Normally the sale will complete immediately this is what is wanted
When in âsell in 3 monthsâ mode the price chosen is the worst possible price, it is the highest buy order +1 increment. The sell order goes up on the market at a low ball price 1 increment above the highest buy order, this is not what is wanted by the seller
The seller ends up with less money after tax and broker fees than they would have had if they had sold straight away.
The market now has a low ball offer which if another trader undercuts ( not paying attention ) will cause their order to complete straight away to the highest buy order also getting a bad deal.
OK so traders can come along and gobble up the low balls and I am sure they are happy.
But I would suggest that the initial price in the sales dialog when in âsell in 3 months modeâ should be 1 increment under the lowest sell order, this is normally more or less what is wanted when setting up sell orders !
In the old days before this patch, the price would default to the highest buy order regardless of the length of the order. This made sense because, if you werenât interested in entering the price manually you would presumably be willing to accept the bid price. Now, in case you forget to scroll down one tick on each of your bulk orders, or even if you miss one, you have to sit there for five minutes before you can adjust them, which is exactly the conduct CCP was hoping to eliminate.
For bonus fun, if you set the time limit to immediate, the price will drop by one tick to the highest buy order, but if you set it back to a longer period, the price wonât tick back up. I suppose you could call it a workaround to a problem that really shouldnât exist.
Also, sneaking in an extra level of broker relations as a prerequisite to the new broker relations skill and messing up a lot of peoplesâ skill queues until they noticed was a charming bonus. But at least we got a bonus skill weekend to make up for it.
So I canât hear the station ambience anymore. Iâve tried checking the cache and all that good stuff. So did CCP make another arbitrary and stupid decision to do something no one asked them to do?
Sometime when you mouse click a character in position 1 or position 3 the âFocus Boxâ does not change to the character and the character in position 2 is logged in even though it was never clicked on.
Veldspar rocks in Gas Havens were not replaced. The entire anomalie was replaced. Rats no longer spawn in these new Sharded Rock Havens. Also, Station Sanctums often will refuse to despawn after completing them, even after destroying the station itself.
Cant play after the last patch yesterday, cant login - stays on Authenticating for 5 minutes then it times out ⌠If i login by some chance , i cant play because nothing wokrs - market, wallet , undock etc - all is super laggy and not responding âŚ
Dear CCP, in cases where I enter 3,000,000 in the dscan range box and then delete the 3 so that only 000,000 remains in the box, it does NOT mean that the entire box is now 0. It only means that I want to change the value to 2,000,000 or 4,000,000 or something else. It is quite annoying that this box goes to empty itself when only 0s are in the box.
With regards to this problem: If I change a market order price and remove the defining figures (eg. I remove 3 from 3,000,000 because I want to set it to 2M) it does not mean the entire price goes down to 0. This is very, very poor UI design.
