I’ve noticed that I get notifications like
The price you have chosen is 1042,84 % above regional average. Are you sure you want to enter this order?
much more often, even for stuff which has sold at this price level for months in the same region. This coincides with existing buy orders at the usual region wide prices like 1.00 ISK.
For me it looks like these buy orders are now part of the average calculation and not only the actual sales. The problem is, that also buyers get those warnings and may think twice and shop in another region, which kills profits from regional trade.
It may be that I’m fooled by the order history and in fact there were significant sales at a small price but filtered out from the history data.
