Logging in works, so you can buy skill books, weapons and ships even though the 2mil sp have not been awarded yet. Start skilling up and try it out!
The weapon graphically shoots a beam to the first target. If both you and the target are moving, the origin point follows you and the target point follows the enemy for the duration of the animation. Incoming damage does not do this. The animation will keep following you during an incoming shot, but the origin point remains fixed in space regardless of the shooter’s movements.
Nearby stations are not affected by arcs; shooting a ship near tethering range will not cause you to hit the structure. Don’t know if this applies to gate guns yet.
In chat someone said that arcs hit fleet members, but I have not tried this yet.
I’m still presented with a black screen with a resource-loading circle on a corner upon trying to log in, rather than the character selection screen
But in case I manage to get into Singularity at the very last minute, are there any suggested vanilla fits for the new ships which we could use for the test? I.e. to save time, etc.
UPDATE: after several attempts, I’m finally in; no sign of the 2M skillpoints yet, tho.
Do you have any suggestions on how to become citizen of New Eden on Singularity again?
After all attempts failed to recover my settings from last week, I deleted all settings to get a default one.
Turns out you go to the New Eden jail for doing that and all the chat channels are kaputt, the market won’t allow you buy things, your hangars are inaccessible and if you had post processing on high, you were high --ermm you should turn it off and relog, if the client or the launcher allows you to.
I just logged on and learned that you only get the SP at the end of the test. Otherwise you have to buy plex & extractors to be able to train into the right skills. Seems a silly way to do it if u ask me if you want mass participation.
