I love Faction War. It was one of the reasons I joined EVE in 2008. I remember when the Caldari “won” the war for the first time. When FW started it was inspiring (I read Empyrean Age), but soon after it arrived, it was pretty broken. CCP made some adjustments over the years with mixed success, but it never got the proper upgrade it deserved.
This time it might. I hear Faction War is a priority for CCP now because the Exec producers are aiming to update it and I would strongly encourage them not to get distracted by null-sec pressures. The idea of empires at war is something that can draw new people into EVE and can offer new players a start to their PVP careers.
I hear the plexes showing up on The Agency is a good change. I know structures are still a problem in FW space. I’d want to see CCP improve the way players enter FW, even if it is for a limited-time tour where you’d have to reenlist - with incentives. It is hard to know how to get involved in FW. How about CCP made ads for military service in Faction oriented stations. The point is, more imagination can be put into FW as a whole.
One advantage I have over other candidates is that my position has allowed me to talk to FW FCs and players from the four empires without having to get involved in the political leanings of any of them. I’m a curious, neutral voice that can talk directly to CCP if I’m on CSM.
Thanks and I hope I can get the “20 heartbeat’s” votes. haha. This game has to stay bigger than us. It has to be mysterious and ominous and CCP has to re-design it that way. I think they know that too.

You have said that you don’t like scammers and scamming unless it’s the ‘big ticket’ long-cons but surely that is a playstyle that a considerable number of players enjoy, even if I don’t. If CCP were to table a motion that made a playstyle almost unplayable - say, in my case, that they made CONCORD react within 5 seconds from when you press the lock button - would you challenge that even if you disagree with the playstyle and, if so, how?
table a motion? That means postpone until later… can you ask your question again for more clarity. I’m not sure I understand it. Concord reacting to a lock button? Sorry I don’t understand the hypothetical.
All I’m saying is let players outplay each other with mechanics that work as you would expect them to.
