[May 2019] Triglavian Industry Changes

The price spike was on April 5th. So definitely a leak, or was there some public source I missed?

Price or availability of Light Veles Entropic Disintegrator has been going up and down wildly, in the past few weeks. 90-100m today in Jita

Would assume they will be dropping from faction data and relic sites (I forget where sleeper encryption methods drop). Unless they decide to make them an abyssal only drop from the bioadaptive caches.

  • Any chance of increasing the materials drop rate to bring prices down as a whole? Prices are already obscene, these changes will increase the price on everything except T1 ammo. Unless Zero-point and Crystal Isogen drops are increase drastically any more demand for T2 parts/blueprints will further skyrocket their cost.

  • Any word on Abyssal stability fixes? The price increases as people stray away from doing the sites because of losing ships to disconnects. People fear client crashes, and stability more than they do the actual content. This leads to further supply issues.

  • Scoped and Compact disintegrators need a materials pass. While drastically increasing the cost of Veles will help them, their cost to make simply means people will grind to T2 rather than buy a modifier variant.

  • Any word on recycling Mutie failure rolled gear supply abyss materials of some levelā€¦ or something at least interesting?

Or hacking inside the Abyss sitesā€¦ 20 minutes, lots of things to do. What do you prioritize?

Will the skillbooks be made available in advance or will they be forked off of the ones that are currently being used for inventing Triglavian ships?

The veles spiked on the tech2 ammo for faction guns announcement on may the 4th.

Now please do something to fix WH loot.
All WH salvage is basically worthless. :frowning:

If demand for T3 ships drops, so does demand for salvage used to build them. (I remember when melted nanoribbons were 5m!)

Too many crabs got into WHs and only lokis see large scale fleet use. Find a crabbing hole and push them out.

Just reprompting this in hopes itā€™s seen. Not looking forward to Trig ships skyrocketing in price again. While itā€™s nice for profit sake, itā€™s aggravating for those of us that actually enjoy flying them.

Again, small and pity changes ā€¦

We are still waiting for the big and brave changes that will save Eve

CCP already has something like that I remember seeing it on the logā€™s but they donā€™t have it on tranquility atm they might bring it in thou who knows.

You can always reprocess

THIS is the reason BRISC got banned , go look at the market data, go look at the price and volume traded history for VELES guns (all 3 sizes but most noticable with the battleship size one. Look at the spike in volume being traded after their Februari CSM meeting, look at the massive spike in price weeks before this patch was announced.

Look at how stable the price was before they started inside trading.

INIT should get the isk gained from this taken away from them , a simple ban is not enough.

On that note, do faction guns then require tech 2 guns too and if they do, does the specialization skill apply to the damage modifier of faction guns?

Can you take a look at the faction remote armor rep?
The mutadaptive remote armor faction rep isnā€™t very good at all and requires more than twice the powergrid for even less repping power.

Is the faction remote rep ā€œbalancedā€ around overheating?

I was thinking the same thing. Faction guns are supposed to fall between T1 and T2. They arenā€™t supposed to be BETTER than T2. People use Faction guns when they canā€™t use T2 yet. So why would the Faction guns require a T2 gun for construction?

And if it requires a T2 gun to build, then it certainly should be able to use T2 ammo as well. Which would explain the spike in Veles prices lately, if theyā€™re going to become T2+ guns after the patch.

It would be in line with other types of module though to have the Specialisation skills boost the damage of Faction turrets/launchers. In almost every other kind of module that has faction variants, those Faction variants have better stats than pure T2 (balanced, in part, by cost and availability). Perhaps changing the Specialisation skill to give itā€™s dps bonus to relevant T2 ammunition rather than to the turret/launcher. This would mean that T2 ammo would do more damage in faction turrets/launchers, but regular and faction ammo would not, which might be a good halfway point (and encourage the use of T2 ammo a little more over Faction ammo, which is generally better - albeit a bit more expensive).

The scarcity driving up the price is mostly just manufactured, although accessibility does cause a bit of an issue. There are not enough people running the trig sites relative to the number doing normal t2 production elsewhere, so it will always carry a premium regardless of how they manage the drop rate.

A simpler fix would be to just increase the drop rate for filaments. Adding more to the market to reduce the price (a significant increase in drop rate, 100%-250%, would depress the price and allow sales for them to flourish more outside of trade hub regions.
Increasing access to filaments means that having a larger number to draw from makes it easier for people to farm them from sites and sell them wherever they normally live, rather than having to buy them all at Jita since theyā€™re priced 500% above normal elsewhere. :face_with_monocle:
