Classic of you not to count Vily to CFC while you count Maria to Panfam. I concede that it’s only 4 Goons, but the range of represented activities has not changed much from CSM 14. Lack of low sec representation then has been replaced with lack of WH representation now. The range of represented security areas sees the same. You should be careful who you accuse of glue sniffing when you crave the smell just as badly.

Vily’s not Goons. We fight TEST all the time. They are, at best, bluetral to the Imperium. Fraternity has been aligned with PanFam for a long, long time - they don’t call it PandaFam for nothing.
Regardless, as I said before, this is the most playstyle diverse CSM in a while. Yes, it’s unfortunate that the wormholers shot themselves in the nuts again, but that’s what happens when you split your vote.
Not sure what analogies come to mind, but I’m just a regular player. I’m not alliance leadership.
Oh, yes, all the time. And as soon as TEST space is threatened … you of course keep fighting TEST and help the attackers by proxy. I see, I see. Or when FCs from Imperium attack the wrong TEST things and get booted. Just bluetral. But thanks that you mentioned that term.

Since many candidates from Null are, its probably something most people mistakenly assume. Its nice to see 'regular people ’ on the podium, its a sign the CSM isn’t just rigged for the elites to carve up as they wish.

What are you trying to imply with a statement like this?
Are you aware of the job of the CSM is?
Thing such as, the fullest extent of which their influence is able to impact the development of the game and the extent to which their influence cannot?
Your statement suggests that there is some innate power in the CSM, one that is so influential in the development of EVE Online that the “elites” would seek to “carve up” such influence amongst each other.
If that is how you interpret the CSM (and how CSM members are elected), I really have just one thing to say.

How does this work, I see the result file with 30 rounds or something, why is not the result from round 1 counting ? why the 30 rounds of elimination ? i tried google this but couldnt find anything.
If i’m not mistaken, Maria Taylor is westerner living in China (good for him/her) … so this means that 9 out of 10 CSM elected are from a native english speaking country.
With so many localizations, and the EVE community being international, i don’t think this is a good thing and i fail to see how others can think that.
Why is this important ?
Because there are issues that affect non-english natives right now in EVE, and i’ll give you an example of one.
We no longer have english language channels and no way of getting in touch with one another; for the past 3yrs i have done my best to direct the speakers of my native tongue to our impromptu channel, but it is an uphill battle, while english/french/german/russian/korean get all the help they can … so why are we discriminated against ?
Is it really that hard to add a subsection in the channels list that covers player made language channels ?
Instead, our players who might not be that fluent in the localized languages, end up starting a game they don’t understand, in a language they don’t understand, isolated completely … do you think they will play for very long in that situation ?
PS: Depressing that Stitch did not go in, outside of Torvald i don’t see any representatives of the solo/small gang group, and Torvald is more of an abyss guy.

You posted your desires in the right place for consideration. I hope an accommodation is made for “orphan ethnicities”. I call them that because there are few playing from some language groups. Karelian and Sami native speakers are some of the many needy groups, and I have not seen any chat rooms for Bahasa Indonesia or Bahasa Melayu.

Question: I had Exookiz as my 1st slot, 7 slots total. Mike 2nd. So what exactly happened to my votes?
I really tried to google this but can’t find info on how the votes work. I just remember reading if person I vote for gets elected, votes go to the person I had in the next slot. Exookiz lost though.
