Mick Fightmaster for CSM 19, a "Whole-Ass" Wormhole Candidate

Mick is a great driver, always good chats, drives the car fast, and has snacks for the rider. 10/10 would recommend.

Mick Fightmaster’s excellent tactical acumen enabled him to accurately predict the outcome of a brawl between a grilled cheese sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup vs. one order of street tacos (3).

In all seriousness I think the most encouraging part of Mick’s platform is that he understands CSM’s role is not to push new game ideas and “fix eve,” but to know their community, understand the mechanics of the region of space they represent, and provide good feedback on whatever subject is necessary.

Mick is a good dude. I don’t think he’ll turn out to be a lying, cheating rat like the last WH CSM either.

:scream: Mick!

@Mick_Fightmaster I’ve heard there was a funny dicussion about asset safety on a stream among some CSM candidates, unfortunately I missed it. Do you know where that was / have a link?

Was it purely theoretical or did CCP really mention somewhere they would ever touch this holy cow in the forseeable future?

Hey @Syzygium thanks for the question.

First off, it was purely hypothetical, so there has been no official comment about what CCP plans to do regarding wormholes in the future. Lore/Mechanic-wise it makes zero sense for there to be any asset safety in wormhole space, so I doubt that would change.

Second, if you’d like to hear the comments that were made, I’ve timestamped the video here so you can enjoy at your leisure.

If you’d like to setup a meeting with me to go over WH space or your corp in general, shoot me a DM on Discord or shoot me an EVEMail. Thanks!

As a totally different person from HK I fully endorse @Mick_Fightmaster.

@Mick_Fightmaster candidacy goes beyond just representing wormholers interests from small to large; his approach benefits the broader EVE community too. With experience in various aspects of the game, including nullsec, lowsec, and industry, he understands the interconnectedness of New Eden’s ecosystem. His focus on fair and balanced changes that enhance gameplay will resonate across different playstyles, from solo to large multiboxers. He recognizes that issues like economy balance, ship tuning, and player-driven content are vital for all, not just wormholers.

He will even fix C4 space.

Voting for Mick Fightmaster over other prominent wormholers like Xzalia or Ksig can depend on several factors:

  1. Playstyle: Mick’s playstyle might resonate more with certain players, whether it’s his aggressive tactics, fleet leadership, or solo PvP skills.
  2. Community Engagement: If Mick is known for being more involved with the community—sharing guides, streaming, or engaging with players—some might prefer him for his contributions beyond just gameplay.
  3. Adaptability: His ability to adapt to different scenarios and innovate in battles could be seen as a major strength, making him a favorite for players who value versatility.
  4. Consistent Performance: If Mick has a stronger recent track record in major engagements or tournaments, that could sway votes in his favor.

Ultimately, it comes down to individual values and what players appreciate most in a candidate for recognition in the wormhole community. But I choose Mick!

Don’t touch my C4. I like it exactly how it is. It is awesome, especially the fact that many people don’t like it because they think it sucks.

@Drake_Iddon has posted a “List of additional candidates to vote for” as recommendation how to use the other votes in his application topic. (link)

Who would you recommend wormholers should spend their other votes for, in addition to you?

Thanks for the question, @Syzygium .

First off, it’s an honor to be included in @Drake_Iddon 's suggested ballot. Next, I’d like to echo his closing comment. This is your vote, not mine. Vote for the change in EVE that YOU want to see. We all have different ways we enjoy playing this game, but most importantly it’s a sandbox that enables tons of opportunity.

My list is as follows, you’ll notice that there is a lot of overlap with Drake’s list for a lot of the same reasons

  1. Mick Fightmaster
  2. Phantomite
  3. Drake Iddon
  4. Kshal Aideron
  5. Aurous Victoirespere
  6. Itaer
  7. Dujek Oneye
  8. Seddow
  9. Rots Mjinwerker
  10. The Oz

My hyperlinked prefilled ballot can be found here if you’d like to use it, but feel free to make changes as you see fit. My goal in selection was to pick what I considered to be a diverse group of CSM candidates that could cover many different areas of expertise, aspects of EVE, and type of playstyles.

At the end of the day, there are a ton of qualified candidates that would do a great job on this year’s CSM. It would be a pleasure to work with any of them.

Thank you very much for your support and thank you to all those who have included me on their ballots! Hopefully we’ll have the opportunity to work together in the near future
