These seem to be nothing other than FC offering a few crumbs for completing a token cookie task that many of us already do by default.
We shouldn’t convince ourselves that this is really any kind of competition between Empires, because Caldari already won based on the sheer number of players. So every Empire (well, maybe not Minmatar) will automatically receive the rewards in x number of months.
Well, it wouldn’t surprise me if it is scripted, like the whole Triglavian Invasion fiasco…
I haven’t really looked into the details of it since the FanFest presentation didn’t really impress or excite me much…
About the only thing that actually interested me was the addition of a new Epic Arc… Course as usual no specific info was released about it…
Such as:
What level of arc is it?
What kind of rewards will it offer?
What class of ships is it designed for?
Is it solo or group content?
Will any standings be gained or lost?
Is it repeatable like the other arcs?
And there’s even more questions…
Anyway, I guess we’ll find out soon enough…

Epic Arc
*The Epic Arc will become available on 10 June.
What is an Epic Arc? A multi-mission story chain. You progress through chapters and earn rewards. Arcs reset every 90 days, so you can replay them. Where can I find the new Epic Arc? When in Starter Space, this Epic Arc will be available. Open The Agency and go to the “Agents & Missions” section. The “Visions of Greatness” arc is listed there. What do I learn? You relive four battles that shaped each of New Eden’s empires. Each mission gives you firsthand context for what the empires stand for and why they’re at war. You will also learn more about flying and fitting your ship as well as engaging in different playstyles. What can I earn through the Epic Arc? You can earn ISK, faction standings, modules, and more. Standing gains from Epic Arcs are unique: they do not trigger derived standing losses with opposing factions.

Epic Arc
What is this Epic Arc about? Visions of Greatness puts you inside four battles that shaped the empires: the Caldari Prime Breakout, the Battle of Pator, the Golgothan Fields, and the Liberation of Intaki. These are hyper-real simulations, officially sanctioned by the empires, presented from each faction’s perspective. What do I earn? ISK, faction standing gains, and modules. Importantly, standing gains from Epic Arcs do not trigger derived standing losses with opposing factions, so you won’t hurt your Caldari standings by running the Minmatar missions. How long is it? Each empire’s simulation will run several missions. Where can I access it? From the AIR Epic Arc mission agent in the AIR Laboratories Trade Center in Manifest.
So I’m thinking it’s probably level 1 designed for Frigate, Destroyer and Cruiser hulls…

Probably even a corvette. I saw an Ibis in the latest Pulse video, where the person started the Arc, with a frigate as reward. You only watch reenactments of battles, not participate in them, from what I understand.

Well that sux… If all you can do is warp to various sites and just watch NPC’s do battle without interacting with them, then it’s definitely not an Epic Arc..
Whoever thought of that idea for an Epic Arc needs to be transferred to another department… And whoever gave it the green light for implementation needs to be fired…

Funny thing - I recently gained the Veteran badge which supposedly gives the ability to post more Likes… Ever since I got it, it seems the amount of Likes I can post is actually reduced…
Anyway, my status according to these forums:
An error occurred: Wow! You’ve been sharing a lot of love! You’ve reached the maximum number of likes within a 24 hour period, but as you gain trust levels, you’ll earn more daily likes. You’ll be able to like posts again in 9 minutes.
I think we need pirate military campaigns. I want to help the Angels lower security in all minmatar space by 0.1.
They need to fix these ones first. But yeah, Pirate campaigns are an interesting idea…
