Different question regarding same subject (thread title): If a missile user has safeties on green and sees a suspect and shoots missiles at it but the target’s suspect flag is over before the missiles hit (but not before the attacker shot the missiles) will this result in the attacker getting CONCORDOKKEN or the missiles will not hit due to the safety setting or the system accounts for the expiration time of the suspect flag and will not let the attacker shoot the missiles or what happens in such case?
Very interesting edge case, I would say that the suspect status at time of activation should count (as it should be impossible to get CONCORDOKKEN with green safety settings), but we’ll have to try to figure out if it works as it should. 
If limited engagement timer is applied upon module activation, rather than hit, this shouldn’t create strange situations. But I have no idea when the limited engagement timer is activated, at activation or at hit.
This edge case is often used in Jita to suspect bait with the last few seconds of your suspect remaining while undocking from 4-4 and it works if timed properly, though I was always wondering if the people who got concordokken as a result of such activity were gankers with red safety settings to begin with or if they were legit victims who had their safeties on green or yellow. Thought time to ask. If you test it let us know how it goes.
Though as you mention the limited engagement which I didn’t think of before I assume it is created the same time (same tick) the weapon is shot which means the cases I’ve witnessed and sometimes personally performed on my related alt (sometimes with success sometimes too late and my timer ran out before they could shoot me) the people simply had red safety and the suspect went off just before they shot thus limited engagement did not trigger meaning they didn’t notice it but were shooting by the time the suspect just went off without realizing their mistake. So I guess it only works if the attacker has red safety.
A fun little activity in Jita that can be performed even in a rookie corvette.
