I keep getting these blank messages while running missions. I assume it is just supposed to be the npc saying how they are gonna kill me and what not, but it is not showing in local either.
Is there a fix for this in my settings or did they just give up on quest text lore?

Other than that, you can try Esc Menu > Reset Settings > Clear All Cache Files
That usually helps clear out little annoying bugs and will close the client. Next you can try this before logging in again.
Open Launcher Settings (gear icon, upper right corner) > Tools / Cache > Verify Game Files
That will take a little time to complete, when finished, select ‘Remove Unused Files’.
After that’s done, log in and hopefully the issue will be corrected.
