Mission completed but later agents say Missions expired?

I’m getting several messages from agents saying their offer expired, yet I’ve completed them, what gives?

Are you doing the Storyline missions that pop up every 16 missions? If not and you are grinding many of the same level missions you will get storylines and if you are not completing them they expire in 7 days like regular missions.
