You think you can only fly one ship?
they are not, 1hr max
Maybe I wasn’t clear enough, so I’m going to ask again - can you do lvl4 security missions, Vengeance in particular, from start to finish, with Noctis?
Vengeance - Caldari…
yes it is possible with the right fit, AB and hull tank, if you are careful enough.
But will it be quicker than doing it with a marauder or any COMBAT ship that can do lvl4 with a reasonable speed, because that’s the whole point of anyone suggesting one ship over another? I don’t think it will.
It’s only quicker if you drop one more MTUs with a Marauder, then scoop/salvage with the Noctis afterwards.
Yes, you can salvage any lvl 4 mission from start to finish in a noctis.
Why don’t you people read what I type and not try to add your own s…!t to it?
I asked about doing the entire Vengeance mission - that’s the “IT” in the question - from start and finish, which means killing ALL the ships while flying a Noctis, not do the salvage ONLY on ANY mission!
Because there is a specific tool to solve the exact situation you are encountering.
Use it.
The specific tool is called MTU, and I can’t use it in starter system. If you want to fly two ships to complete the same mission that’s your thing, I find it quicker to use one with MTU, WHICH means I have used Noctis as a salvager in the past!
You can’t use the MTU though can you?
Can I fit a Noctis in a 440 m3 cargo hold?
Yes, by all means, let’s change the rules just so you can use an MTU for one particular mission in one particular system…
If you’re too lazy to keep the noctis in the Agen’ts station, keep it in a station in the 1.0 system(s) you’re going to use it in. Then just swing by with the freighter to take all your junk to a trade hub.
You cannot use an MTU.
We have provided a perfectly suitable solution.
Good day.
Well they changed the rules to begin with so deployables can no longer be deployed in those systems, didn’t they? So yes, lets change them again. so it’s polished and it doesn’t look like they tried to fix the fridge but blew a hole in the wall, and it would make much more sense to not give any lvl3 and lvl4 missions in those starter systems at all!
It’s just in rookie systems and trade hubs. That’s like 12 systems out of 8,000. Not a big issue…
I understand you don’t remember (or wasn’t playing) when that change happened. The issue is, they purposedly removed the ability to deploy stuff in rookie systems to prevent ads spamming. And they thought the 10+ million ISK a piece MTUs were a big threat, not the cheap cans.
They created the problem for mission runners, and it was preventable with proper design. They know how to identify which item can be deployed, and they know how to not make an item deploy within x range from structure and what not. Therefore it would be possible to deploy the MTU for legit mission runners in deep space. They know how to, but they are lazy and shortsighted.
The Epic Arc missions in Amarr does send you in a rookie system once in a while, it’s not like you can avoid that if you like to do the Epic Arcs.
