Then you’ve misunderstood. What I meant is that my posts are at least benign enough to be in line with the normalized mean. Just because I write creatively doesn’t mean I’m EVE forum ISIL.
Also, do keep in mind that I’ve never had my posts deleted, or even (aside from one a few weeks ago) hidden, except in cases where a thread gets cleaned in big chunks. I believe that most people, including the mods, understand that despite being edgy, I’m actually sincere, and that’s what matters to me.
Also, I believe that the reason the four or so of you have instantly labeled my proposal as a troll without trying to address it in any way or form is because it downright terrifies you.

I did not label it as a troll, I actually said it was an example of why these forums are messed up. You and players like you seem to feel that because you are old players who only truly understand this game that you have to police anyone else that has a different viewpoint and aggressively so. That post was just confirmation of your mind set and why these forums are so nasty.
edit - I defined it as a bait post, and it was a truly epic one at that, but it really exposed the mind set which defines the conflict on this forum.

It was not a simple troll, it was a finely crafted bait post of a magnitude very few people could pull off. I certainly couldn’t. I did not call it a troll because it did not deserve to be simply defined as a troll, it was that good.

Just to be sure Im following things here.
What I am trying to say and what I tried to say from the start in a clumsy way is that I did not call it a troll because it was such a finely crafted bait post.
What I liked about it was that it defined the issue of these forums perhaps unconsciously. Which is that there are certain long term players who see it as their absolute right to go after any players who have a different opinion to them on their game and because of that they can be as nasty as they want.
These forums will always be deeply unpleasant for most people because most of the posters here have that attitude. It is why the quote that the ISD send to people who get a rap on the knuckles as detailed by White Knight 2B is so laughable.
Still at least I worked out what the issue is with these forums in a very short time, mission accomplished. I think with that I best get out of here. It is too bitter and nasty for me period.
