That is something that will have to be decided, though honestly, if a silence/ban occurs, it’s for a reason.

It was so. Seems some peeps were on a black list, even when the initial ban was for something rather stupid and unimportant.

Yeah, It seemed like it. Pretty much all the outspoken posters. It started right after the PA purchase was announced. I always figured he was just trying to be a kiss-ass to keep his job. “Look at me, dear leader. I’m cleaning the riffraff out of our grand new forums.”
Apparently it didn’t work.

I forgot who it was ( was it @Destiny_Corrupted ?) but someone asked for a forum category where we can all bitch and moan and dry-hump each other and Bartsorlode pretended he’ll look into it but in reality he is letting this thread become just that… he’d rather there be a singular thread to supervise instead of several in an entire subforum…

Instead of making the effort of unflag 80-95% of all flags how about deleting this crappy system ccp?
I mean if you already HAVE the effort of unflagging abused posts what hinders you in - i don’t know- actually moderating?

I don’t like what he’s saying is not in the rules and the people flagging know it. But that is often why the post gets flagged.
Though, to be fair, weaponizing the flagging mechanic doesn’t seem to be as prevalent as it used to be. Maybe the worst offenders got a little talkin’ to. Or they just got bored of doing it. vOv

The forums “seem” to be a bit more friendly these days? I “think” the ISD has been working it’s magic in the background… 
All of the belligerent undesirables have left, so everyone gets along now.
I think the simpler answer is, that not much has happened on the forums recently. No new controversial threads to blow off steam in. I guess it’s time to make an alt and make another “eve is dying” thread.
