Note the full graph though shows that 3 years ago MPI was in the sewer system.
And note that CPI has not spiked dramatically.

It only looks bad because CCP is currently placing EVE Online in a temporary period of resource shortages, and once this is over, it’ll be fine.
How do you know it is temporary? Or more precisely how do you know “temporary” isn’t say 5 years like with their technetium goof?

Trying to argue with Scoots in any regard related to CCP’s changes is futile. You might as well talk to a wall and get a more intelligent answer out of it (especially in this case as it knows more about stones than he does).
Furthermore, you just have to trust CCP. They have a plan. They know what they are doing. Speaking of which … In the Resource Distribution Update twitch stream from September, CCP Rattati said they would release more info on their “plan” soon. Soon obviously measured in CCPTimeUnits.

Care to point out where they released a new dev blog since the stream? The last related blog is from the day of the stream.
Why, I can’t imagine how a Dev blog or two on Isk streams and null sec would be related at all…
How are ESS and DBS related to resource distribution? I fully agree that it is very hard to imagine how they are related.

Yeah…no, no not really. I’ve been here before. When CCP decided to redo moon goo they really borked that one badly and left it for years. I am sure they have a plan, but in the years I’ve been playing EVE I have seen CCP screw up more often than not.
