One more thing.
My dear pilots, who posts slogans about “go mine something else”, “Excelent changes CCP” and so on.
I hope that you will enjoy your elite PvP in caracals for 500 mils per each and ratting abour the Gila for 1 billion

That is the insult to injury with the moon ores, yes.
If they’re doing this, they should make moon ores (and trig ore, while they’re at it) able to be compressed by rorq/citadel refinery module as all other ores (and ices) are.
If that was the case, CCP would just have tweaked the orca.
Same point there, if CCP make an update for (no one cares) things then they let us known to update is coming today they just take tirt off from moon oreand no one was even expect that change, becuse usually update day is in tue. Was a hard to say today morning or yerstaday to moon ore change is coming in monday?
Wow the stupid arguments here…
A yield fitted Orca, with T2 drones pulls 1,480 M3 of Stable veldspar per 60 seconds…if it sitting on the rock or within 2700 meters at least.
That means it mines faster than a T1 strip fitted proc (165 seconds per cycle)
and on par with a T1 strip fitted Skip (about 142 seconds)
if neither is recieving boosts.
Then you figure in the fact the orca does not have to warp out all the time like a skiff or proc.
BUT none of these numbers mean squat in the CONTEXT of the main part of the current argument.
Which is number of Orcas being used and being ATK or AFK…
Cause if Orcas in HS were an issue as this argument implies…then the MER’s would not consistently have Delve (Goons) always at the top of the list mining more than Half of all of New Eden combined every month!!
I want to see the answer of people who destroy the game - developers. where can I get ore in nulsec to build ships? answer. in again you expel people from games. tell everyone how much you were paid to destroy the game? you never answered me. I am waiting for an answer so that everyone can see it. Do not hide behind - but answer
heyy developers why you do not answer. write me an official answer, do not be afraid
I am waiting for an official response to my message. do not try not to answer. everyone should know this
You already have a bad blackout experience. You bring the game to collapse. BS value has doubled. Ships are becoming very expensive. where to get materials for their construction?
Tell me is hard to walk in Clown Shoes?
take and look
A popular quote from Eve was ‘More risk, more isk’
look at the armies of AFK Orca mining the high valuable minerals, safely in HS
Explain yourself, where you goes with your “chaos” bullsh*t ?
I do not live in high-tech. I live in nulsec. And orcs are bots. let them be banned
I’m sure glad I saw this… I had just started looking into moon mining in the wormhole since I had never messed with it in all my years. I was literally this close to dropping almost everything I had saved on an Athanor (since I can’t seem to buy Silos or anything for POS moon mining as they have the info saying “replaced”).
However, this is a HUGE let down at the same time. Since I get an ore belt maybe once every couple days in the hole, and the rare NullSec exits are only 100,000,000 mass and close in 1 round of mining, I was looking forward to experiencing another mechanic of the game and also helping my manufacturing of t1 ships and modules along (to each his own… no need to worry about how I play the game).
I just spent hours doing a survey on all the moons and was “googling” around trying to get solid info of EXACTLY how this moon mining thing works before I commit for my small corp. It now seems like it isn’t worth it to invest into the moon mining for a small corp…and seems more geared for alliances who can afford to lose a huge amount of isk?
Being fresh back from a long break, I am noticing more and more that small corps like mine are finding it harder and harder to get started in many areas… For me and 12 people total between 2 corps, it seems completely useless and doesn’t look like it is cost effective to even start moon mining now… Am I wrong here?
Message me in game, I will buy them at a discounted rate.
Agreed mate.
JF’s are a wonderful invention but I still remember the excitement of escorting a fleet of regular freighters out to Tenal to put down the first player owned stations up there back in the day. It was exciting and terrifying and needed a bunch of people online to make it happen safely.
There’s another thing I would like to know, why in amarr space mostly all of Sperrylite (Amarr Goo) as been removed and replaced by Vanidinite (Minmatar Goo)?
I appreciate your data Thonys.
What would you need from the re-roll of R4’s that has been mentioned by CCP?
Clearly, they are thinking about adding more R4 moon material to BP’s in order to keep HS moons profitable.
If they can make HS Moon mining a bottleneck then those Athanors will be much more valuable, especially if combined with new rules around making it easier to delete Low Power structures.
Hang fire mate, I honestly think that CCP want your small corp to thrive.
Everything they did with Wardecs was trying to help Corps like yours.
They are solving a problem with the availability of an abundance of resources by removing what were previously only nulsec ores from HiSec.
They would have been wise to put more meat on their assertion that they will make HighSec R4 moons more valuable by increasing the use of the moon materials you mine from them.
I don’t work for CCP and I know they sometimes get in their own way but I believe your HiSec moon mining urge may eventually be satisfied - write to a CSM and explain your needs as a small Corp CEO - the future of the game lies in the hands of people like you.
You do know moons used to give no minerals right.
And Caracal prices were fine. History says prices are not going to do that because we’ve actually been in a situation of even lower mineral production in the past.
I often think about this mate because I know a lot of people who solo, including me these days.
My experience has been that specializing in something is the best way to go. In fact having two or three things you can do - perhaps higher end PVE across a number of game play areas, including exploration and the Trigs, Trading, or PVP for drops of expensive modules.
All that said, I’ve lost track of a key metric which CCP should be tracking - how can a solo player of different skill levels make sufficient ISK to Plex their subscription each month? So, a 30M skill player might need 40 hours of game play to be able to earn sufficient ISK to buy one months subscription through PLEX.
Or, perhaps that same 30M level skill player really needs 20 hours of game play a month.
In today’s Eve economy a month’s subscription is about 1.6 Billion ISK - How many hours in a month must a 30M skill player have to play to earn that?
I guess the reality is that each person is trying to “get ahead” in Eve for a different reason and this is the challenge the people at CCP have One person wants to pay their sub, another to save for a Titan, another sets wallet goals and enjoys achieving them, still another doesn’t really care about ISK!
