We’ve brought it up, particularly that “main account” is too ambiguous and can lead to issues like this. Some people treat specific accounts as their mains, even if they have characters with more money or more skill points on other accounts. It was not to us, and still isn’t clear what CCP’s criteria was for determining a main account. I can just assume that it’s probably something like assets or skillpoints.
I have also told them and also linked them to this thread that i have different information than what they say. But now a second GM entered the ticket and also said “CSM understood the offer wrong”.
So they remain at their position: 3 accounts in Omega are needed and then it will take a couple of days and then the discount will become available on all linked accounts that share a common email.
This is funny now… the support tells me i need 3 accounts in Omega for the discount which from the discussion here might be wrong…
Also the ticket might have caused them to correctly set my main account, since i do now get the discount offer on my other accounts while i have only my main account in Omega state.
I suppose that i will not continue discussing this with the support. I have already enough tickets and confusion on my daily work life. Don’t need this here also…
I’m glad we got this resolved. Ignore the GMs otherwise, as they don’t know what they’re talking about. CSM did not understand the offer wrong, since we’re the ones who asked for the ■■■■■■■ offer in the first place.
