So whatever settings I make with each client as far as window positions, UI color, etc, it saves those settings on each client every time I start a new session.
However, sound settings seems to be different. Is there a way to change the sound settings for each account such that when I start that account, it only plays the sounds I previously set it to, without having to constantly be changing them?

That sounds like a bug, because I’ve had no problems with the client remember my sound settings (I also multibox). Unfortunately, my google foo has failed me, and I can’t find any one else with the issue. You can try generic troubleshooting steps (clear the cache, reinstall eve, maybe create a new profile from scratch), but your best bet will probably be to file a support ticket.
Please come back and tell us how you fixed it. Might help the next guy with the same problem.
I have found it to be a bug sadly. Sometimes it saves my settings for sound, sometimes it decides it wants to go against my wishes and cranks everything either loud or mutes everything
