Music fading in and out breaking the mood

Hello, whenever I open a new window, or enter warp, or anything really, the music fades out and then eventually fades back in a few seconds later. This is extremely annoying, I can’t listen to the beautiful classic music of EVE.

Furthermore, sometimes it happens multiple times for one event: I open a window, music fades out, back in, then out, then in. Sometimes 3-4 times in a row, before it settles to be faded out. That’s broken.

I searched everywhere to disable music fading, but I couldn’t find it. That would be awesome if I could disable it. Or just remove this “feature” altogether, it doesn’t bring any value imho. Thanks.

I agree, that can be annoying.

As a workaround you could turn the in-game music volume to zero, open the launcher, press Ctrl-F and search for :belowtheasteroids to open the Rebel Radio

The Rebel Radio was added as part of an April Fool’s joke but it’s a fully functioning EVE music player hidden in the launcher.

Not only do you have full control over the volume of the EVE tracks this way, it also won’t fade out and in while opening menus.
