Just to clarify gambling is very legal in Australia and while the laws governing it very slightly state to state the guys behind eve bet are Aussie’s and its bases on sports bet a very popular gambling website here

It’s legal in Iceland too afaik, but only if the gambling operator is a nonprofit and the profits go into nonprofit causes.

I work in the gambling regulation industry. Legislation is always behind new forms of gambling designed to avoid the traditional definition of gambling. I’m genuinely worried that Eve, along with a number of so-called games, will be banned in my country.

Ah this is interesting. Would you say that in face of the ever developing forms of gambling, that at some point we’ll see a generalized crackdown on anything that even only smells like gambling? I mean, I have no doubt that CCP does not intent players to gamble.
