Need for search in inventory compact mode

photon UI is good once I put everything to “compact mode”, but I’m lacking the search input for inventory. I use it all the time, and it’s not acceptable to have to switch compact mode off whenever I need to search an item. Compact mode should not reduce functionality.

compact is :

non compact is

please put the search function in the top bar.
something like inventory - X items, Y Est. price, volume, Search (options) reduce close

You mean it should be like the existing UI? That is by default more compact than Photon compact has ever and will ever be, and whose compact mode does not remove essential functionality from the UI? Don’t tell me it is so…
