Using ventures is very miss leading as at least one on there isn’t a newbie.

I’ve been playing this game as the hunted since 2006, if a player quits because of a pissy little venture loss then they sure as ■■■■ wouldn’t stick around after their first battleship gets killed in a level 4.

Another thought for you, they haven’t left. They just moved away from the main area where ganking is common. The “out flow” may have nothing to do with ganking at all but this neat thing call life.

The developers could collect statistics, it’s a good idea.
There are also all the new players who sign up on alpha and then find out about the 1 million SP buddy program so recreate accounts.
