I enjoy the endless whine/salt. I can’t count the hrs I spent guarding gates/wh’s for the mining fleet. Pay was poor but corp sprit was high!
We all got to watch Netflix, lol until trouble appeared.

It is really sad when I talk to gankers and they hate their lives. No one pays attention to them and no one respects them for decorating mom’s basement. The reason they gank are usually:
And I can sympathize with these players and understand their struggle in personal life. But I cannot understand how can someone be excited to finally launch EVE after work to simply gank in highsec. That is absolutely horrific idea and I cannot sympathize with such players. Horrific and disgusting.
JJ
Well, a catalyst isn’t an end-game goal either but seems a lot of people are stuck there.
And there is very little war compared to actual players in the game. But get what you are trying to explain here.
JJ
I didn’t make the thread and not a ISD to remove one either.
Oh you had gankers in your system, and they made it really exciting? Oh my gosh sounds like so much fun.
Just a suck up to a group that is delusional at best.
JJ
Eve is a PvE game with a simulated PvP experience.
Have to agree with this. And in null a target, we look for when roaming others space.
lol what is the company motto “Be brave, we shoot what can’t”. I still think a better lore story would make ganking much better.
JJ
I wouldn’t really count worm holes as ganking. It is just content there.
If you really want to see the rivers overflow with whine and salt keep betting the ganker up and making them actually PvP for real. These threads would blow up with all the salt to be mined.
JJ
I see this thread is now well on its way to oblivion.
Oh, who could have foreseen that the American outlaw was a troll all along? And so consistently in consecutive posts. Well, it was bound to happen, as they metaphorically say, either a guy gets to the end of their rope, or it’s long enough to hang themselves with.
Its just the newest in a long line of similar stories.
I really wish they could stick to their story long enough to answer some questions. Who knows, maybe there is a seed of wisdom in there somewhere.
i tried long and hard. Trust me………. This is as good as it gets
I obliged and joined the fella and we went to go digging for those seeds. I was led into a desert of well-trodden sand, holes abound, and much to my surprise we suddenly stopped. I was told “dig here!” by the enthusiastic outlaw. So we began.
The sun was hot. The tools were rough. My hands blistered and my skin burned. But together we dug and every shovel full of sand out, half a shovel full of sand ran back in the hole.
“Maybe we should step back and grab different tools?” I asked.
“No! Of course not!” was the reply.
We dug more in the sweltering heat, spectacles for the onlookers.
“Maybe we should wait until night to dig?” I asked.
“No! Of course not!” was the reply, my idea was clearly foolish.
We barely dug down, the wind picked up, the sting of the sand in my eyes and on my exposed raw skin. The wind carried more sand, yet still we looked for that fabled seed.
“Maybe it’s not here?” I asked.
“What are you, stupid? Biased? Mal-intended?” was the reply.
Still we continued on.
As night fell, he kept digging on, relentless. I had a break, and during it I snuck away. Nothing against the guy, but the experience had left me raw.
Even now, when myself and other members of the public walk through that desert, each time there’s a new hole next to yesterday’s hole. And we can see him, digging in a frantic search for that seed there. It’s kind of sad. But as we look back, we notice the sand being blown around in this desert is, in time, slowly erasing the old holes. I worry someone else will start digging a hole where his used to be.
We have a new recordman here. This amount of spamming is even beyond Dracvlad level. With even more nonsense.
Why is it that these gank-haters are so damn passionate in their goal to nuke ganking from the game that they spend hours replying to them nasty gankers on forum every day? Why is it so that these peoples are so obsessive about it? That they are replying to everyone, sometimes even quoting a single word from A4 long reply just so they can nitpick it and derail elsewhere. How is that they can’t see that there are wrong and that they aren’t wanted here? This person is on another level really. The most hilarious is that he didn’t step even an inch back no matter how many times was he caught and proven to be absolutely ignorant about actual game mechanics.
My thoughts exactly, talking to gankers about solutions is like boiling the ocean.
Actually it is in reverse, stop ganking and the gank haters leave? I don’t see how it would work otherwise. Maybe the real question is why are gank lovers so obsessive about keeping the game play live everywhere.
Your queen is number one at this, not some carebear so get your facts right.
I have moved heaven and earth, but nope you guys are the king of game mechanics, lol so laughable to even type it.
Balance in the game is all that anyone wants, until the balance is achieved, why shouldn’t the community speak up? And I feel everyone believes Eve is about risk vs reward if that is PvP, PvE, or anything in between. With that said ganking should be no different if gameplay.
JJ
I am not playing this game of yours.
Religion is fun.
You can “prove” anything with faith!
'Twas but a drive-by post, to paraphrase Gotye “Eve is somebody that I used to know”
True, more towards AG.
Good thing you started EVE (everyone vs everyone) late. You would definitely not have survived the 2 wk trial period. You don’t even know what real pvp is.
Edit, grammar.
Wut.
EVE has literally been that since creation. It used to be more cutthroat even.
No, you are not asking for ‘balance’, you are asking for the normal rules of supply chain in combat being broken. You are asking for a disconnect between mining and where that ore ends up…and you are posing this disconnect as ‘balance’. Which is just plain nuts.
You want miners to be able to mine without any regard for the fact that mining is the start of the entire process for combat ships and war. You want miners to be able to profit from all the combat that generates the very need for ore in the first place…whilst totally excluding them from that combat and keeping them nice and safe and snuggly in highsec.
And you are posing that absurdity as ‘balance’.
I think its perfectly balanced. You wont need a new balance if you hauler afk.
