There are lots of marauder pilots if the same pilot is losing marauders over and over then the problem is them. If you are losing one marauder then compared to the billions that can be made you are going to be fine.
The biggest thing people do to harm their isk balance is over bling their marauder. IMO a mid tier repper and a faction cap battery is more than enough. The tiny boost to isk per hour you might get from anything else is not going to pay for itself in high sec because a three billion marauder has a big target on its back.
I guarantee that the majority of those pilots like me lost their marauders because they got a little careless not because eve is so saturated with gankers no one can do anything.
Same with miners, few miners are going to lose a barge a day, they are going to lose a barge and then start paying attention and it’ll be months before they lose another. If a miner is losing barges over and over they are probably botting and factor the losses into their profits still coming out on top because they are running multiple accounts 24 hours a day.
I get that it’s frustrating to lose expensive ships but flying expensive ships is not the be all and end all of eve. Just look at the gankers, they have most of their fun in T1 destroyers fit with T2 guns. No blingy or abyssal modules. I have most of my fun in T1 cruisers these days. Cheap easy to replace and don’t require me to grind for six days just to have one good day of pvp.
So now we are at the point we aren’t worried about Ventures and T1 frigates; we are worried about the poor Marauder pilots? The people flying billions of isk worth of ships that take months to train into? The ships that are literally the strongest sub capital ships in the entire universe? The ships with the most DPS and highest active tanks in all of hi sec? Those are the poor people we have to cater to now? Who, despite all the resources and time it takes to acquire one, just can’t seem to figure out Eve?

Risk vs reward balance is also broken
The risk is much greater then the reward.
If every time i undock to make a mission i risk 2b marauder why i dont get 2b reward for a mission if i manage to finish it wihtout getting ganked?
You want some a 2 billion ship to pay for itself in just one mission, in high sec?!
You are proposing a very out of whack risk vs reward system.
Maybe if you had a significant risk of losing your ship every time you undock. However that really isn’t the case. Like I said, I made billions without losing my marauder without getting paid 2 billion per mission.

I do have a significant risk of losing the ship every time i undock because gankers are everywherre, they have eyes everywhere , they have alts sitting at gates , scanning ship`s cargo and ship fit.
Most missions require you to go to the next system,
They can combat scan you in the mission site .
Gankers themeselfs admited tehy destroyed 60b in 1 month
or was it 600b.
They probably lieng coz thats what they do.

These people only give a crap because they feel the money they make from a stream is threatened by stream-sniping.

No they don’t. You are talking nonsense. CCP have numerous times ( including at the 2022 fanfest ) clearly stated that highsec ganking is part of Eve. The language could not be more clear. Heck…one of the youtube adverts for Eve even makes reference to ganking, and mining ships being blown up. But as you don’t seem to have even played Eve for two and a half years…I can see how you’d be oblivious to that.

Good practice to assume they are everywhere but that really isn’t the case.
Don’t over bling your ship and make a target of yourself. Also travel fits are a thing.
That’s what pings are for. You can set up pings on gates to check them, pings to insta undock and install dock.
And for this you have d-scan. It’s actually hard to scan down a marauder. They have specific bonuses for it. If you see probes on d-scan you have plenty of time to cycle your bastion and warp to safety. Also don’t sit at zero in your mission. MJD as soon as you arrive in the mission.
Yeah you should go Marauder in Nullsec where its nice and safe to be a krab. Just join a bloc. Somehow.

If they can’t learn the basics to protect themselves in high sec they are going to last less than a day in null before someone blops drops them and they have an embarrassing loss mail to explain to their bloc.
There is literally a system in nul (ESS) that shows everyone that wants to look where people are ratting so they can head straight for those systems.
Best they learn some rudiments before they put themselves in a positions where they have to justify their losses to someone.
I just warped all 57 systems from Oipo to Amarr and passed people from my known ( extensive ) ganker list in just 3 of them. Methinks thou dost exaggerate. And there was just ONE ganker on my list at Amarr.
And yet people fail to pay attention to the rudiments and lose marauders daily there too.
Like i said, they are all on their alts, they mostly login on theyr ganking toons when they go killl theyr target

I killed a few marauders and many ishtars over there but at least those people ware risking them for some real isk , not like in HS.
An ishtar can pay for itself in less then a day.
