I watched fanfest, that’s not what CCP said, what they said is that the gank is gameplay and they would do something about griefing related to the gank. That’s all.
Gank is assymetrical warfare to say the least, also why would anyone not gank the people who are mining for 19 years? You people are just making even more alts, buying even more skill injectors… well, if you are making yourself a whale don’t get surprised if you are getting harpooned.
Saying people shouldn’t be able to gank is the same thing as saying EVERYBODY HAS TO MINE FOR 19 YEARS FROM NOW ON BEFORE THEY CAN FIGHT ME.

No, its not common ground at all. My whole point was that a noob can be easily up and running in a high EHP battlecruiser like the Gnosis…so why would they need to haul stuff in a frigate ? Plus a few days old noob doesn’t actually have that much stuff to haul anyway, and anything under 135 m3 ( which is more than enough for ammo, turrets, etc ) can be transported in a free Velator.
Noobs can go on no end of ( protected ) agent missions. Noobs are protected up to 30 days in no less than 35 starter systems, agent systems, and SOE systems. You’ve conveniently missed out on that bit. Once a noob leaves those systems…they are no longer protected and they are effectively declaring themselves ready for carnage. That is how Eve works.
Battlecruisers should also be immune to PvP?

What do you have against Fortnite? It seems to be your go to insult. Have I played? Of course I have. I’m not some crotchy old boomer who can’t build ROFL. Now that being said, it isn’t my fav game as I’m not good at third person shooters, although they are killing the skin game right now.

You may malign Fortnite, but you have to bow before it’s vidya game making history. Its the literal reason so many games, including MMOs, have battle pass models. Now is the battle pass model my fav model? Not at all. Weaponizing FOMO is terrible for the average gamer. However Fortnite has proven how successfully financially it can be.
Even EVE has bowed to it and instituted a modified version of it.
I would say Apex is most likely the best BR out there today. Much more fluid and mobile. I haven’t tried that vamp one but most likely will. But it is third person so I don’t hold out high hopes.

Hell, the free idea was a genius move of capatalistic might. Suck them in with free gaming, then razzle dazzle with skins. They just finished off a DBZ skin arc that must have netted them an ungodly amount of cash.
Now they are doing D2 skins, which will probably sell decently. D2 is also doing skins/Fortnite stuff in the hopes the collab will cross-pollinate some players.

I would disagree with that, but totally agree that you rarely if ever attack anyone.
Over all of the years we’ve been on the forum together, I might not agree with your views, nor how arguments are sometimes put to sound more credible than they are, but you always stick to the topic and not the person. Respect for that.
