I put them in the barrel so that I can have fish for later, and every time I come back to take a fish, they are all shot. I am tired of replacing all the fish. Quit it already.

They should change the name of EvE to “BARREL O FUN” and the logo theme can have like a crazy wildeyed redneck with a shotgun shooting into a barrel of fish.
This way carebear crybabies would understand what the game is about.

Gankers are the most social in eve, they fleet, they chat, they have discords, twitch eve chat channels. They have fun as a group
They are not lazy… they are among the most active in the game
Greed? No, they fund the srp through funds earned from looting and permit revenue…

This is true in every game as well. Was playing Elite Dangerous during the 2020 Covid Lockdown. In-game it was the LTD craze. People were mining the crap out of these for big fake money profits. Amazing phenomenon really since there is NOTHING you can do with the money other than buy a bigger ship and repeat the same procedure.
Anyways, there are something like 80 billion star systems in that game. Yet, this YouTube video told people where this “hotspot” was to mine them most efficiently. The sheep came in droves. We had a great time.
Point is. In a game with 80 Billion places to mine. These lazy sacks of crap, with ships fit without tank or escape came right where they were told to go by some popular video. They died over and over and whined and cried.
Lazy. Greedy.
The amazing thing is: their sense of entitlement. Almost every cyber kill resulted in tears of rage and lengthy lectures on how i’m the worst person in the world. They truly believe that they should be able to log into a space game (called: Elite:DANGEROUS), amongst ships that have laser beams on them, go the “hotspot” and face ZERO risk.
Oh well. I get up from my nice, clean desk and hang with the wife and kids. They can stroke their pet snake in their empty apartment whilst stepping over bags of broken chips.

Yo no lie. If solo didn’t exist I would 100% be playing Elite: Dangerous as my primary vidyagame.
Shame. Now I just watch from a distance at Star Citizen to see if it’ll ever actually be a game instead of a scam tech demo.
Till then I’m trapped in CCPs grasp.
Elite is a vacant game. Ships fly amazingly and before Fleet Carriers were introduced there was some great PvP action to be had. Now the game is just a bunch of people playing in solo mode, living in their FCs.
Star Citizen is the dream. It will never be made. They cant get a single thing right tbh. Besides, the game is going to be a themepark-style game anyways.
Eve still the best space sim.

I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to role-play a space terrorist. I feel as if it’s a play style or role play element that many will gloss over. Everyone wants to be a “pirate”… Why be a pirate when I can be a terrorist???

Summary
Would be fun to role play as a crazed terrorist like Marco Inaros, except my space son would never betray me or talk back. I’d be a good space terrorist / space father and he would learn to respect me and enjoy my evil plots.
I pledged the minimum amount and got in a Mustang or whatever it is. I realized quickly that the ship you start with is trash (much like the game right now) but I found myself posing as an innocent pilot looking to team up with others. I spent a good week betraying some really nice people and shooting them in the back of the head. It was also a ton of fun to sneak onto others ships and ransom them (of course I wouldn’t honor it).
Honestly for what I enjoy doing in the game (murder hobo), it’s not… that terrible. I just can’t get past the unoptimized laggy experience right now just walking from my Hab to my ship.

Feel free to add me in Star Citizen. Ive been a backer since 2013 and played the last two years steadily.
The game is not free though. From a gameplay aspect. Everything you do has restrictions, especially if you want to engage in criminal acts. CIG has spent a ton of time and resources in sterilizing their game. It used to be a lot of fun, but the development trajectory in terms of truly “free” playstyle is already dead… and its just alpha.
The graphics are good, but every mechanic is poorly designed, shallow and broken. I realize it’s an alpha so i’m not using the term “broken” to describe bug, but instead to describe how its just pure, bad design.
And yes, I am a murder hobo. But, there is really nothing to do in the game. Nothing has a purpose. There is no market due to there being no crafting or item loss. People trade and mine just for mindless pleasure and not to fund a war effort. This takes acts of non-consensual pvp and renders them nearly pointless.
It’s basically a single player game with a couple weakly design co-op missions vs. NPCs. The problem with that is: it’s only going more in that direction.
This is the result of gaming being focus-tested with the contemporary gaming population.
