This is all fine and dandy… But. There are many buts and ifs in this discussion.

Gankers defend their view and gankeds defend theirs.
CCP works with systems and mechanics so most of it is legal.

But not recognizing there are exploits (sometimes) is ridiculous and biased.

Just like the dude that does or used to gank with 20+ accounts in Uedama.

But how does anyone work out what ‘intent’ is ? One could have a complex situation. For example gankers might create a small diversionary group to lure away AG-ers. That would have the effect of drawing in Concord…but how does anyone work out whether…

1. AG drew in Concord to defeat the small group
2. The gankers used the lure to draw in Concord…and thus ‘pull’ them away from the main attack.
3. Both apply…or neither, as the whole thing was spur of the moment and not planned.

Is CCP hiring Mystic Meg to work out what the true ‘intent’ was ?

In the case of pulling concord its very clear. Delaying is an exploit and is described on the exploits page. Pulling is not classed as delaying. It written down. It’s there in black and white. I dont see the issue.

It would be very easy to script in the rats to have variables in numbers, times, and how they harass the system if it is belts, custom offices, gates, or stations.

If you want to replace all player interaction with NPCs, can you go and play the X series of games and just leave EVE alone already? There are single-player PvE games out there that give you exactly what you want.

Duels, War, Proving Grounds will still be there for the chance of PvP content if you were on the fence for one reason or the other. No one wants PvP out of the game, it is how it is managed.

Duels and arenas are entirely consensual (and as such ignored by 99.8% of the game’s population) and wars are almost entirely opt-in now and have less than 5% of the destruction volume they had in 2016.

Everyone is seeing what you’re actually trying to do here.

I do help lots of new players in corp and trying to get people to stay in the game. I can say GM or no GM even though they are nice in the conversation, no one feels good about it. They all hate it, up to this point. Maybe one day I will get a new bro that is like, yeah got blapped today, loved it, it was a great experience. But until then, the random, experience feedback I get, is it is not liked, welcomed and doesn’t encourage, and that is to people that literally stop playing at around that 4 month mark when they finally just give up.

Can you please just stop poisoning the minds of rookie players with your asinine ■■■■■■■■? I guarantee that all of your “help” is absolute garbage, and is doing more to harm player retention than any ganking ever could. As a non-combatant and a serial gank whiner, you are in no position to be offering anyone advice. You are doing considerably more harm than good.

I assume you are referring to Kusion. That guy has been reported, and investigated more then any other player in Eve. Probably more than the next 5 people combined. Every…single….time he is cleared by CCP. The fact that literally one guy is capable of that should tell you that it’s actually extremely hard. Almost nobody can do it. Almost no one can run a sub 4 minute mile, but a few people can. Just because you can’t, and don’t understand how it’s even physically possible, doesn’t mean someone can’t.

I don’t see it as a PvP server, I just see population moving into low if you like NPC stations and or WH/Null if you don’t care either way. Call it the great migration if you will and if there are so many people that love PvP.

I think what you will find is a bunch of individuals getting picked on by corps, and the PvP will no longer be fun, that is 100% speculation. And that same though this applies similarly to high sec, being ganked isn’t fun but for one side.

And there lies the 10,000 words written above on the what if’s.

Very strong words. I would say the right to free will and choosing not to use it is the only true choice of good or evil. Non-consensual attack, every single time the opportunity is there is just easy mode. You might as well be a bot. Isn’t that against the manifesto? A bot is what a bot does. If you want to prove your tactics are not going to get you a ban, get 100 alts an start killing ships in swarms of corvettes, see what happens. At that point CCP will have to make a choice if this behaviour is exploitative. Remember it is not an action that is an exploit is what you do with that action that is exploitative.

People are confusing the High Sec for Safe Zones. This isn’t like other MMOs where "PvP and player kills have areas not being allowed to fire on. If a Fleet “Wanted” to, a strong one they could literally hold down a while area semi-easily against concord and bottle neck a whole area from being explored. (In theory)

Most people that complain about being ganked were literally alone/no corp/at least one person was in an armed ship. Even my retriever has an barrage of drones to at least give me some protection to fly towards concorb or to a warmhole.

You should NEVER depend one cookie cut situation that will protect you in this game.

I know that comes from a good place, but this complaint is not that. My complaint is regarding exploitative behaviour. And these people being cowards who avoid real fights, also choose not to boldly admit the exploits they are using. If they are not bannable then explain the process of delaying concord that you use. That’s what i say. Be bold and stand behind your words. Tell me how you do it, even show me. Invite a GM to watch what you do. Be brave.
