It may well be…but it is the very nature of the game. It’s a cruel and sucky universe…it is designed to be…the adverts even tell you so. But arguments that gankers are all psychopaths consistently miss the fact that its a universe where you can fight back.
Ganking is not something CCP should be ‘solving’. There is nothing fundamentally ‘wrong’ with ganking. The real issue is that people could collectively act against gankers within the game itself…but by and large they don’t. Ganking only thrives because most potential victims just carry on chewing the grass like wildebeast watching the lions chew their latest catch with an ‘I’m glad it wasn’t me’ attitude.

i would agree with you, its an easy target and I can’t say that would not be profitable. I think again i would like to focus on the exploitative behaviour. The ganker trolls keep expanding my complaint at will to include all ganking. And teaching someone a lesson and talking to them afterwards this would be good gameplay.

The problem is a lot of new players start mining for isk thinking it’s free. It’s not. They should be steered towards pvp 1st so they know how to react when someone hunts them. A gazelle does not just stand there when a cheetah attacks.

EvE is a sandbox, and I can play it any way I want. I choose to play EvE in a way which is fun for me and makes me feel better about myself, by griefing and terrorizing new players, and if I drive them out of the game then that is one point for me, and I am trying to get as many points as possible.
True, I respect the ones who at least try though. This ones not trying…
