I think Eve for noobs should have a little popup thingie like Word used to have…which would give some message like ’ I see you are mining…did you know that…etc etc’. A contextual advice system. Obviously one that people can also switch off.

hate to tell you a lot of people started the game in the first few years and got bored with it. It was a really bad game in the beginning. If you want to replay a bit of that EVE Echo’s is an earlier build.

Indeed…me too. But the problem with expecting rational responses to Eve is that nothing in Eve is rational in the first place. It is the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party In Space…and ought to have the Beatles singing ‘I Am The Walrus’ in an octopus garden on every station. The sheer insanity of Eve is one of the reasons I stay.
The beautiful part of this between you two @Aiko_Danuja@Cilla_Cybin is that Aikos game play has dictated everything Cilla has done in the past few months. From learning to fit ships to skilling pvp to smuggling weapons for anti-gankers; everything has been because hi sec ganking exists. Isn’t that the emergent interactive gameplay that James315 wanted with CODE? It’s really the ultimate victory for that ideal. Instead of being just a random hisec minor Cilla has become an involved, active member of the universe.
As I have no control over who buys the stuff…the biggest irony ( on looking at Transactions ) is that a lot of it is bought by gankers. But yes, I’ve increasingly become a trader too…mainly weapons and ammo.
