Your style of play is just abusing the game mechanics though.
Suicide ganking does not contribute to a realistic “fantasy world/universe” it breaks immersion.
Back in wow when i played, i knew a bug where i could teleport out of the starting zone in battlegrounds. It was so fun man, i could take bases before everyone else. I had a great time. Not great for the game though.
He doesn’t understand that the sandbox aspect is something that EvE has always represented.
I don’t even gank, but seeing this guy trying to convince himself publicly that the game mechanics are bad because he can’t play the game right… just pure entertainment.

WoW is a padded themepark. EvE is a sandbox where buried in the sand are shards of broken glass bottles.

Its not a sandbox though, a sandbox has sand and a box you can play in, there are some natural laws that makes sense in that universe. In EVE there is no such logic, you just suicide your crew at empty ships for lulz.

I am right with you. Still looking for strictly immersive game that I can really RP with. Stelleris is the closest game on the market atm. Elite is more simulation. Almost like the foil to EVE.
Elite is where the pilots are the background, and the governments are the story. EVE is where WE create the story. Elite is massive and honestly is a single player game. (Bought game + DLC) Stelleris is a good in-between EVE and Elite. I do want something as immersive as EVE. But less of the MMO style.
4x MMO What I am looking for. Shared in 1 galaxy. Protentional for immersion is great. Still sharing that social aspect and less reliant on skills more reliant on long term strategic thinking. There is no such game yet.
But EVE fills some voids for me and I live with that until Stelleris goes on sale again XD
