You know EvE is not only High Sec ? Learn to explore a bit, maybe will broaden your intelect.
The point is. If there was a ship you could fly in highsec, and not be subjected to the immersion of the game being broken - i would obviously just fly that. However, no matter the ship - everytime you log in to eve in highsec, you roll a dice that you will get suicide ganked. No matter what.
I would like a immersive experience in the fantasy game im playing and i would like to opt out of the unimmersive elements. A skiff or a tanked orca does not provide that, and there is plenty of data from killboards to document that.
Maybe if you took the time to look me up you’d realize i dont live in high sec
It’s a mindset thing. NO SHIP is ungankable. If gankers wanted, you/me/anyone else DEAD we would be long gone by now. So you make it less of a target to gank. Find systems AWAY from Jita/trade routes. It’s a fact the further you getaway from jita and hotspots the less gankers there are.
I run incursions. All my years of taking my incursion ship to every new focus I have not been ganked ever. You’re trying to put your perspective onto all of us who usually don’t get ganked and know anti gank 101.
You can fly an ibis all you like… no one will care.
As a industrialist you cannot avoid highsec all together.
Elite Dangerous has single player mode that connects to the main galaxy everyone shares.
Well you have a point. Great gae
You have a good point, that i believe legitimizes my original point tbh.
Immersion has nothing to do with PVP-ability.
It’s just a hangup you have. I find the fact that anyone can challenge me to a fight any time an incredibly immersive sandbox experience. And each day I keep my spaceship from blowing up, a small triumph.
I’m sorry you want a themepark.
EVE provides a great place to play “factorio” or other builder games in a MMO setting and generally provides a interesting “game-universe”. The complexity of blueprints etc. is really interesting also, but yea, this game is not for me. Maybe ill give elite a go.
Yes a ‘fight’ between a cargo/mining ship and a comabt ship, very courageous
Lmao.

Have you ever tried mining and living solo in NPC Nullsec? Without being part of a nullsec bloc? I have, for 9 months. I never lost a procurer. That’s courage and skill.

Maybe ill give elite a go.
take a look at this game
its awesome

You are still reliant on highsec and the game is still broken in highsec
Can you tell me about the immersion in chess?

If 100’s of other people has the same issue as me it legitimizes my point.
No it does not legitimize your point. People have different tastes when it comes to games, and we love it for what it is. And then a bunch of people looking for something else, come in, call us a bunch of psychopathic griefers, and then lobby CCP to have our play styles destroyed and move the game in a direction that we don’t want.
If you do not want to play a brutal, always-on PvP game with a harsh death mechanic, don’t play it. Go play Elite Dangerous or something, and stop trying to “fix” our game.

Once upon a time there was no CONCORD. Once upon a time it was possible to tank CONCORD.
You’re whining at a point in time where you’ve had more CONCORD protection than any other period in EVE history.

This argument could be true if the game wasnt also centered on ‘player driven economy’ and a very decent industry. Different people play eve for different reasons i agree. So why should industrialists be forced to take part into a gameplay they do not enjoy?
Pay attention and don’t AFK. It’s that simple…
