No it breaks the immersion of the game overall. It has no logical sense to it, its just a abuse of game mechanics to get one up over other players.
In your world you would have me believe that a average encounter of a suicide ship goes something like this:
You are the captain of a suicide ganker ship. You stand with your officer core around you contemplating the future of your fleet of 5 cruisers. Earlier in the day you were inspecting the crews of the ships including your own as you hear one officer say “Commander there is a covetor on the scanner along. If we attack it the authorithies of the system will shoot us to pieces, we will lose our ship and everyone but a few will die - BUT - i have this document called the code, and its boring to mine like they are doing in the covetor. I suggest we shoot it up - this is a dark and grim place after all”
Tell me your version of the events at this point then *

If you can make this ■■■■ make sense to me, ill rejoin eve!
Yeah, empty freighters will actually get ganked. Nerf gankers don’t understand why though, and like pointing to it as if it proves that risk management strats aren’t effective, or that gankers gank to grief or something. I don’t know. There’s some mental gymnastics involved.
Anyway, FC’s of large gank fleets will sometimes gank freighters if the fleet goes too long without a kill, as they don’t want fleetmembers getting bored and leaving, which would reduce their engagement profile.
Groups will also gank confirmed freighter alts of their enemies. I’m sure they’d rather kill them when they are loaded down, but killing empty freighters still messes with enemy logistics.
Some gankers will also accept contracts to kill people, and will gank them whether they’re full or empty.
And, of course, some gankers will gank just because it will generate a large killmail. IIRC, Kusion said he will gank stuff just because it’s expensive.
Except what you say happened and what actually happened just arent the same thing, i agreed with the points that are true and disagreed with the points that arent
The argument litterally originally was that the immersion of the game is broken by highsec ganking and quite a few took it all sorts of other places mate.
This is our Highsec Queen Regent that has saved many lives including my own.
I might run a tantrum when I feel that I am neglected but deep down I am a Miner who wants everything for myself and this is my downfall. I am a attention seeker like many before me who try to steal Ice Or Ore from her Safe Space.
My fantasy is for one day for my frozen corpse to be burried in a Hanger full of Veldspar staring out of a stucture view port at the mighty statue of @Aiko_Danuja who placed my frozen corpse there.
Only then would my game be complete and that fantasy dream should be remembered and added to the New Eden Lore.
