Sure seems like it. I’m late to the thread but my first impression of the changed character creator was that it was so similar to the one in Echoes.
Just wondering what else will be borrowed from Echoes.

I have requested to have my account reverted/shifted to the existing character creation method. I was told they are unable to do that. 
Wait you ask to switch to the broken new one, or back to the old one?

CCP… What the crap are ya doing to the game? I loved being Intaki because it was a piece of info that I could flaunt. Now, you’re taking it away? Hope this was a BIG oof moment and it gets fix.
You’re taking a big dung on everyone who loved the RP side the game because you probably want some more money or political status gain. Everyone’s doing it nowadays. Why not CCP…? Yeesh. Again, I hope this gets fixed or rectified

I started EVE in December 2020. And I wondered why I couldn’t select the “Bloodline” described on wikis when created the character.
Then, I found this fact recently and I’m very sad. A RPG doesn’t look attractive only for the mechanics and balance. Visuals and lore are as important as them.
I’m a Gallentean, but if my look doesn’t match it, I’ll have to dive into the recycler with throwing away about 2 million skill points…

CCP, if this is an A/B test, please let us try A (old character creator) not only B (current character creator). By trying both, we new players will give you useful feedback as to which is better.
