If CCP wants less mining, then more…what? Combat?
Where do they think the ships and fits and such come from?!
It’s been lamented the disparity of wealth in the game. These changes but make it worse. The well established long term mining corps and alliances will be able to absorb these nerfs and the solo miners will be SOL.
Tbh I think this has always been the case. Its just become more and more obvious as the years go by.
Here it goes again…
In the first decade of Eve, CCP would just implement content and let players figure it out on their own. There was no right or wrong way. Some players would engage it in a completely different way from what CCP expected which in most cases amazed CCP.
However in the last decade, CCP has grown more forcibly in making players engage with game content in the way that CCP wants them to do it and in some instances, totally removing the players choice to engage or not.
True they were amazed at some of the innovation and thought put in but that didnt mean they didnt want players to play a certain way imo. But yeah we are agreeing none the less on it so Im good with that.
CCP releases their long-thought-out Pochven release. The next day CCP is shocked and dismayed that people would rather shoot drones in empire space to grind standing, rather than shoot drones in Pochven.
Classic CCP. An exploit was declared and all the standings were rolled back to zero.
Im tellin ya, if CCP had a spine theyd tell people more stuff.
Then at least you could leave knowing that you disagreed with the Devs and that would be that.
Rather than keeping everyone in the dark because the player base arguing with each other is some sort of entertainment for them.
It is entertaining, to be honest. I wouldn’t be surprised that CCP read this forum for sh!ts and giggles. When I read pseudo intellectual crap to cover up greed, tantrum and bullying then is passed for knowledge of the game and then more arguing and bullying for the sole sake of ego, yeah, that’s hilarious.
Then there is all the salt “I’m quitting and never coming back” stuff immediately countered with high-spirit trolling for the sole purpose of ego and a macabre impulse to hurt someone, anyone… OH yes, I have NO doubt CCP reads this forum and laugh so hard to peeing their pants.

Miners don’t need support, they are freeloaders who get free stuff on a daily basis, the minerals they mine are free you know.
